On a mid-February motorcycle ride in unseasonable warm weather, my friend, Russell, and I visited Cornerstone Cafe about 11am, on Saturday. Bustling and noisy as we entered, we were lucky to get a booth immediately. Another customer even waved us over to her booth as we walked in, to say she was just leaving with her son. Isn't that a... This a cute, cottage restaurant. The bake goods are to die for. The menu can be limited at times but everything is excellent, especially the Wild Rice Soup. The decor is cozy.
We were going to a wake in town, so I got on groupon and found this place. It was very quiet at 8pm. Waitress was high schooler, didn't know much. Specials on the board weren't current. I ordered deli sandwich and their famous wild rice soup, mine was excellent. hubby ordered chow mein special, ti was very dry, chow mein... More
I had the South Of The Border Breakfast Skillet. Wow! It was delicious. The portion was gigantic - I could only eat 1/3 of it and took the rest home. My wife had eggs and toast, which were also delicious! The place was packed with locals. Old fashioned diner atmosphere. Great service. Even a few tap beer selections to compliment... More
Stopped for breakfast after an early morning airport run. Cute, quaint, cozy place. Excellent service & food was top notch! Both entree portions were more than adequate. Rancheros flavorful & satisfying. South of the Border Skillet seemed to have a pound of bacon. Great coffee, too. We noticed some fantastic looking pies & cakes on display. Usually stop @ at... More
Cornerstone Cafe has fresh homemade unique food. Not your typical small town cafe. Their chicken wild rice soup and house made rye bread shows up in my dreams sometimes! It's such a bright spot in my hometown!
My wife and I were on our way home from the airport and she was hungry after a long flight. We stopped at the Corner Stone Café. I have eaten there before on several occasions but never on a Sunday morning. As previous reviews have stated it is not a big place. When we arrived the every table was full.... More
The Cafe was a little small, but that made it cozy. I was greeted promptly by a friendly waitress and placed my order. I ordered the Cream of Tomato Bisque soup, the shepherds pie with the Cesar salad. I also ordered a bottle of beer. The soup was great and I highly recommend it. When I was about half way... More
The food is always great, my favorites are the soups and desserts! Today we had breakfast and I had the Wild Rice soup omelet - it was delicious!
