This restaurant has the best indian buffet around town. I would highly recommend going on the weekends.
It's was great, good service great! chicken Tika masala! I damn near licked the bowl clean, it was amazing my girlfriend now likes Indian food. hefty amounts of food, great smells it was great real close romantic setting.
We are from out of town and was in Minneapolis for the first time, staying near uptown. We like Indian food so we went to India palace. Very good curry entree and samosas. It took awhile for a waiter to wait on us but the...food was served quickly and it was hot. If you have a chance to be in uptown go to India palace.More
This restaurant serves lunch buffet. The spread and quality is average and can't call authentic. Tandoori chicken was little sweetish, Kheer was not Kheer at all. However veg dishes were O.K. But service was warm and prices reasonable.
I ate at the lunch buffet with coworkers in June and it was one of my favorite lunches all summer. I especially recommend the butter chicken (murgh makahni) and naan. Everything was excellent from the rice to the tamarind and mint dips for the naan.
The name is nothing unique but the food is. This is some of the most authentic food I have had in the states. I have never found Chaat on the menu before. We had the Samos with the Chaat. I could have eaten a bucket...of them. I ordered off the street menu. Chicken 62 was fried with a chili paste. The Nan was great. I left stuffed. Definitely on the repeat list.More
Excellent Indian Food. Small Quaint spot. Staff very accommodating. Uptown is always so busy. It was fun to find a place to relax and have a quiet meal..
We had dinner there last night. We sat outside in the fine Minnesota evening. The food was very tasty and fresh. Spicing was superb. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Prices were quite reasonable. I had the lamb kebabs which were quite good...as were the accompanying vegetables. She had the vegetable curry and garlic naan. Also very nicely spiced and fresh.More
My son wanted to try some different Indian foods so we ordered from India Palace. He absolutely loved everything he tried--3 dishes and the naan. We will get this again!
This was a decent Indian restaurant with a great selection of dishes, including vegetarian. This would be a good place to bring someone who is newer to Indian food. The food was not as flavorful/ spiced as I would have liked and a little too...mild. The one criticism is that the chicken had that slight taste that tells you it had been cooked then reheated. It was clearly fresh, but you can tell when the cook has done this. The rice, naan bread and lamb samosa's were excellent. I still give it four stars as it is hard to find really good Indian food in MN, and this place is making a good effort.More
Absolutely delicious. I was able to specify how I preferred my entree spiced and they gladly obliged.
We have had home delivery twice this month, but have never dined in the restaurant. The chicken josh and chicken curry are very flavorful, and they will adjust the spiciness as requested, as well as include extra spice on the side so you can add...your own to suit individual palets. We recently ate at an Indian restaurant in London, and though they said the food wasn't too hot I thought my face was going to explode, so I was interested to try this restaurant for comparison. The staff is very helpful when you call and the food we have tried are really delicious, perfectly seasoned, and I was assured they can add spicy heat if you want it.More
Flavorful food on buffet line. Would like to have more vegetarian options. Service is friendly and professional. I will return to check out the regular menu selections.
This is a very good Indian Restaurant, a 5 for Minnesota but I am comparing to all of the Indian Restaurants I have been to in Texas, India and Indian home cooking. So, very few places could earn 5 stars. I have been looking for...Paani Puri and they have pretty good paani puri. The paani (green water) is perfect but I prefer more dark Indian chick peas and cilantro in each puri. They have more like a turmeric potato mixture which is okay. But hey, it is about 80% as good as my mother-in-law's Paani Puri and that is amazing for a restaurant. If Indian restaurants get Palak Paneer right, that is a marker for a good restaurant. Their Palak Paneer is a 4.5 and their Gobi Manchurian is amazing, a 5. Great place and really happy to see it in the neighborhood.More
