I have been quite a few times and each time I am in town I make sure to stop there. The food is really tasty and authentic. Prices are reasonable which is important if you are on a budget. When the place is crowed, it's hard to find a seat... so go there after 1PM !

This is my fave Greek deli in the Twin Cities. It can be busy, with very limited seating, during weekday lunch, as many people working in the area come in there. I've been on a Saturday when there were only 2 other people in there besides me. I almost always get the gyro plate, with either baklava or extra dolmades... More

Tabbouleh and baklava are the best I can find anywhere. A lot of options. Good quick place to grab lunch. Around businesses, so not open late and I think limited weekend hours. Gyros, hummus, falafel, etc.

Had the best middle eastern food outside of Israel here in Minneapolis at the Zakia Deli. The meatballs, gyro meat, falafel was the best I've had here in the states! The salads including the hummus was outstanding as well. Tried about twelve or thirteen different things and loved every one of them. The people and the service was as good... More

Tucked away in a commercial area, you have to know where Zakia Deli is located or you wouldn't just happen by. But its worth a special trip. Although the place is small, it's packed with salads and sandwiches that any vegetarian would love. . The mjadra is my favorite! Lentils, rice and spices with the Lebanese salad of tomato, onion... We received a Groupon as a gift to Zakia Deli and dined here today. The coupon was good for two daily plates and two sodas. We tried different items. All were prepared perfectly, but our pallets did not necessarily agree with the taste profile. The reason we give Zakia Deli a four star rating is because when we return the... More

Zakia Deli is tiny, but they are big on flavorful food. The basics are Greek in origin--but Greek unlike any I've had, with big chunks of garlic present in nearly every entree or side dish. Fish out those hunks o' garlic, though, and you'll get delicious food for a ridiculously reasonable price. Last Friday, my husband and I had lunch... More

I take home food from Zakia whenever I am in the area. I love the people whom work there, and the food is lovingly prepared. Hard workers. Beautiful food. From sandwiches to entrees, I am happy every time.

I have added the last and final star to this place just because every time I go there, no matter what I have, it's just tastes great! They could use some more space though. At lunch time the place can get crowded and the line of people goes virtually across the dining area... Note for Israelis and Israeli food lovers:... More
