First trip here. We had the Walleye, Chicken, Clams, Cheese curds. Everything was hot and Fresh and Tasty! Will definitely be going back. Only Downfall to this place was they don't serve Dr Pepper.

nothing here really stands out to me. while the food was fine, it was only that: fine. moderately expensive, and pretty much lacking in service or ambience.

The fish and chips here are as good as you will get anywhere. I enjoy the same at Anchor Fish and Chips but there is something about Mac's that makes it the winner between the two. Try it you will love it. Not fancy and not a lot of tables, but great food.

Went for an early dinner with extended family. Very quick service and delicious halibut and walleye fish and chips. Limited seating but friendly and accommodating staff. Very limited menu but this is normal for a fish and chips shop and this served among the best I've had.

Well as you could guess they have Fish & CHips and a nice variety of fish. Prices are very moderate for Fish & Chips but the inside seating is pretty limited so I think of it as a take out place. The food is excellent and it's a good way to try some different fish combinations. Service was wonderful. It's... More

My husband and i have been to Macs a few times. We ate there. On Saturday nite we called 10 min before closing and placed take out order. It was ready for us to take home in 7 minutes! Hot walleye and cod. Good coleslaw and fries. Excellent quality. Go straight home to eat warm; not so good when reheated... More

The chicken and the clam strips were fine, but a bit "bready". The largest turn off is that the main item (fish/chicken/clam) always goes on top of the fries leaving for some very soggy and greasy fries. Would make a huge difference if they were not doing this I think.

Having been a fan of Mac's for long time I was happy to find out they are in Minneapolis. I had no idea they had a location here as I had always driven to the Roseville location. Like others have said there are 3 fish choices.....halibut, walleye and cod, each priced differently. You can get a 2 piece or 1... More

Not too many places to get good fried clams in MN. Mac's are wonderful - something unique in the batter? Service is fast friendly and efficient. They serve beer and wine, and the salt water taffy is fun.

We had a Living Social deal, and since we lived so close to this restaurant, it finally got us in the door. The behind-the-counter staff were very friendly and helpful. The fish was fresh and delicious. The poutine was interesting. . . I would've liked a more hearty gravy--the pepper was great, though. The fries were so-so, the slaw was... More
