I have been here quite a few times - and always had a good experience. The prices are reasonable and I haven't had anything that I didn't like. I love the location and love to sit outside AND I love being able to see folks walking by with their dogs!!!

Toast is staffed with some of the friendliest folks in Minneapolis...and that is saying something! Always a nice selection of by-the-glass and economical, varied, and tasty bottles of wine available. We have always enjoyed their cheese selections and roasted vegetables as well as sweets to snack on either pre- or post-dinner. And, if you have never had a bourbon old... More

Went out with my husband for a Valentine's day dinner. Music was very pleasing. Dinner was done very well. Thoroughly enjoyed the beef tenderloin. Wine suggestions by staff were very good.Thank you for a very special night!

Toast is tucked away on 1st street north in the warehouse district and easy to miss unless you live in the area, nevertheless is a great place to go and have a nice glass of wine and some really good small plates. Toast is making their own flavored vodka's and aquavit's and a particularly nice limited edition bourbon; not sweet... More

Had a great time at prior visit, went with expectations of similar experience. Sadly, it wasn't even close. Waiter was unattentive throughout the whole meal. One manager had twice noticed us trying to get some of the waiter's attention, and was seeming to try to help. 100 minutes for 3 glasses of wine (total, not each), 1 appetizer plate and... More

We are in town visiting our daughter who lives in the warehouse district just down the street from Toast. We stopped for an after-dinner drink but ended up trying all kinds of wonderful things! The wine list was prepared by a taster, not a reader. It consists of lots of interesting and somewhat eclectic blends and locales. Great stuff, especially... More

This place is a great lttle hole in the wall hidden amongst the newly-rennovated apartment buildings in downtown Minneapolis. Great adult getaway for crostini and wine pairings. The knowledgable & friendly staff make it easy to sort out proper pairings and the atmosphere is perfect for a casual, but romantic snack.

Paige set the stage (rhyme not intentional) for a wine exploration. Willing to recommend wines based only on some quick verbal interaction; she knows how to react customers! Willing to pour some tastes that challenge the palate and norms. Would go back just for her level of engagement and connection. Not high-end, not high-strung - a great 'local' type wine... More

This was one of the nicest dining experiences I have ever had. I was in town for a conference, and ate by myself after it was over and my colleagues had left. I was instantly welcomed and was attended to by multiple friendly staffers throughout my time there. I really appreciate somewhere I can go as a woman travelling alone... More

Out of main streets, slightly loss in the basement of a building, this place is charming and relaxing (at least in week days). Staff is really kind and they do propose a decent choice of wine. Food is somehow limited and it's kind of Mediterranean tapas based on cheese.
