Disappointing and expensive. Came early on a Saturday - the server was polite, personable, and attentive. The food however was disappointing and the bill was waaay to high for the quality of the food. (Ordered the shrimp linguine)

Not a fan of The News Room, Too spender, hamburger tiny, and dried out. The waitress never came back to check on us. It’s as though she didn’t care. I would not go back. The place was empty. Over rated. M

When we checked in and was seated, it took a while to get a waiter/waitress to us. When the food was delivered our server spilled some fries on me. Of course he apologized but it would of been nice to get a new order but...that might have taken longer. Food was very good. I would attempt to go back to this place again.More

I went for dinner and enjoyed every bite of my smoked salmon appetizer and the Short rib risotto. The portions are good and the food is seasoned well. I wish they would extend Sunday brunch to 3 or 4p.m. I went on a Sunday afternoon...and wanted brunch. Brunch ended and 2p.m. and I was seated at 2p.m. When I asked if I could order from the brunch menu, I was told that brunch ended at 2p.m. and it was 2p.m. ....sorrrryyyyy. I was a bit taken aback and disappointed that I wasn't offered to order from the brunch menu although it would have been a few minutes after two when I would have ordered. Needless to say I didn't stay and found a restaurant that served breakfast/brunch items all day.More

The food was average at best. They did have a large variety of dishes (and our adult family all ordered something different), but no one at our table "raved" about the food they ordered. The service was sub-par. Granted, we were there on a college...football Saturday night, but the restaurant should have anticipated that. They would not let a party of 6 make reservations. If you are staying at a downtown motel, you can get there by walking through the Sky walk system. NOTE: There was some construction going on in the Sky Walk, so we ended up going outside the last two blocks. We would not go back a second time.More

After our convention was over we took a short walk over to "The News Room" to relax, eat and drink until it was time to head to the airport that evening. We had an awesome waiter, and great food. I had the California Panini and...a cup of fries (excellent) and my friend had the burger with roasted red peppers (life changing!). We got loud and just had a blast. Thanks to the friendly staff!More

We stopped in for a Night-Cap and the drink selections were great. My wife had the Black N' White Martini - which she loved. I had the Peanut Butter & Jelly Old Fashioned - it was pretty good. The service of the bartender was amazing,...she's really good at what she does.More

No- I'd suggest getting a private room at the bank restaurant - in downtown. Can't think of many other places that would have private rooms or areas
