I visited this place twice on my visit to Minneapolis. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. On both occasions, the food was very good and would highly recommend it.

I enjoyed eating here while on a business trip in the area. The service was prompt and friendly. The food tasted fresh and was also very tasty!

I had the Reuben. They make their corned beef in house and it is do die for. My girlfriend had their turkey and avocado and said it was wonderful. They are a short walk/drive from Lake Calhoun. Outdoor patio. Beers by the bottle/can. Lots of indoor seating.

Outstanding food: our party enjoyed the spinach/walnut burger (the best version of a veggie burger I have ever had), broccoli/cheddar scramble, beet salad, and bean.potato soup, along with a chai latte, an iced tea, and a cappuccino. Many other great choices on the menu, some vegetarian and several vegan. Pleasant dining area (although could do without the music, which with... More

Had breakfast here with a friend. I ordered corned beef hash and it was the best hash I've been able to find here in the twin cities. I'm originally from Southern California where you can find great hash in almost any deli or diner. I've been here for five years and my quest for great hash has finally ended. The... More

Stopped in for a late breakfast (although they also have lunch items that sound delicious). They have a full coffee menu, along with beer, wine and flavored iced teas. Great variety on the breakfast and lunch menu. Mostly soup, sandwich and salad type items for lunch. Service was very friendly, and the food came out quick. I had a Braised... More

While nearby helping a relative clear a condo and move into a health center, we ate lunch at Gigi's Cafe almost every day. Their soups are scrumptious, and sandwiches & salads are also. We especially liked the BLT and Turkey and Swiss Cheese sandwiches. My wife always got tea, but I took advantage of the tank of cold ice water... More

Lunched here after a quilting class at nearby Glad Creations on a sunny Sat afternoon. Absolutely marvelous! Exceptionally helpful staff, interesting and marvelous food. Great selection of brewed teas so refreshing! Able to eat outdoors always a real plus in MN. My friend also impressed with a chef who, provided a quote for some birthday petit fors. We each had the cobb salad. More fixings than lettuce which was nice but I have had more generous servings and more delicious Cobb salad at other restaurants.

I've been to Gigi's three times in the past six weeks or so. I had been there in the past, but not in a long time. The first time, more recently, I was very impressed with the service. The young woman couldn't have been sweeter or more accommodating. I don't remember what I had, but I do remember it was... More
