Decided to try lunch here as we were in neighborhood. Inside is pleasant and service friendly and rapid. Best advice - try the chimichanga. It was very large and very tasty. They have a number of other options. One of us had a combo with...chicken tostada and chicken enchilada (came with rice and beans). Pretty bland. Over positive but if you like chimichanga - try one of them here.More

I went here with my kids and my brother for my Birthday and the food was OUTSTANDING! They had specials on tacos, and we had wonderful service. We are already planning to go back! OH yeah, and the tamales were very good!

This is not your OMG gotta have but the food is good, decent price and you get your money's worth - my chimichanga was so big I made 3 meals out of it. The drinks are generous and the service is decent. We keep coming...back because its authentic and a fun little hangout where we don't ever have to wait.More

My wife and I went here the night before the Super Bowl. We were looking for Mexican food and a location away from where all the tourists were. We didn't have or need a reservation this Saturday night. This place seemed to have mostly positive...reviews. If you live in the Twin Cities, you know that decent Mexican options are rare. My firm opinion is that this place has NO redeeming qualities. Service - as many reviewers noted - is really bad. The food is on par with the service. Margaritas were not up to the standards of the premixed stuff you get in bottles. Guacamole was passable. They brought out two salsas with the chips. Both mild and uninteresting. The mole, which I generally love as long as there's a little effort, was perhaps the most disappointing version I can recall.More

Their adobo and mole are good. The drinks are strong. The chips/salsa are great. The wait staff is slow. The karaoke is hilarious

Great authentic Mexican food! No frills, just honest flavors, Mexican soap operas on TV. Worth the visit!

Even though it's probably an authentic Mexican restaurant it's not what I'm used to when I actually visit central Mexico. I did think the salsa was good because it had fresh cilantro and my husband's burrito was pretty tasty he said. I had a taco...salad and it had grilled chicken breast pieces on top. It wasn't a huge salad but it was pretty good.More

I have been to Adelitas Mexican Restaurant several times in the past two years. Each visit has been delicious and fun. The atmosphere is bright, yet cozy, and the food is top notch. The service has always been very good as well. They have an...extensive menu that is authentic and fresh. In addition to the homemade salsa, there are at least three different kinds of bottled hot sauces at the table. There is a full bar if you desire, with great prices at happy hour. I am told that they have karaoke on some nights too.More

Service horrible. Had to ask twice for water. It took FOREVER to get chips and salsa and then FOREVER to get food. Asked for pepper - waitress never brought it. Food was not hot. Just warm. Portions size was good. Food was ok Not worth...the wait for the price.More

I have come to Minneapolis to visit friends and family, and this was the first restaurant to pop up when I utilized the door dash app. So for for the first time, at approximately 11am I place an order for a chicken Quesadilla with the...trimmings. The order is delivered before noon! About 2 hours after I ate the Quesadilla, my stomach is on FIRE! I would compare this pain to that of a stomach ulcer. I vomited about 6pm, and my stools were runny!!! Let's just say that I'm never eating there again. I know food poisoning when I see it because I've had it quite a few times in my short life. You people should be sued for that! Check for Ecoli on the lettuce as well!! #thebignasty #salmonella #AdeGROSSMore

The food here was very good and the burrito dinner that I ordered was huge. The green salsa is a little spicy so I suggest ordering it on the side so you can portion out yourself. The mango margarita was also delicious. I would skip...the tres leches cake, there was too much frosting for me.More

This is my third time at the restaurant & everything keeps getting better. It is a lot more busy now because of their good food reputation. I love the ranchero sauce with enchiladas. My husband loves their mole. They have the homemade, time consuming recipes...here that make the place very welcoming. I have tried the Mexican Beef also & that was good but I'm sold on the ranchero, blended peppers & onions sauce. Not sure on the tacos but the Mexican entrees we have tried have us returning.More
