This is probably our favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities area. Love the food, love the music, and the decor is fantastic! You can sit up in the balcony above the open kitchen, or on the floor closer to the music and occasional dancing, or outside on a nice summer/fall evening. If you stop in make sure to try the... The food is great, but what really makes the restaurant stand out is the way its decorated. It has a very unique vibe, there is a lot of metal and brick used but in a way that isn't industrial, but more artistic. The bathrooms look like something out of the Hobbit and are very interesting. I would highly recommend this... More

Had a group event upstairs. Staff did a great job serving nearly 80 people in the upstairs room where Bob Dylan lived. Pretty cool space and the food, drinks and service was excellent.

We went to dinner as a big group (made a reservation) and were seated at two tables next to each other. The building has an unusual decor and nice atmosphere. Interesting menu and good selection of drinks. Everyone in our group was happy with the food they ordered (I had lamb and it was well prepared). The service was a... More

Happened to just stop in looking for something different. This place is cool. We loved our food and will be going back sometime soon. Portions were right sized and not huge.

Near the University of Minnesota East Bank campus. Outstanding Italian food, an excellent selection of wine and beer, terrific atmosphere, friendly servers. This is a keeper!

On a Tuesday night it was slow, so service was prompt. Nice atmosphere to talk. Plenty of options for group appetizers. I had the fish and chips, and the presentation was most creative. It was good. All companions liked their meals. If I am in Minneapolis again, I'll go there.

My colleagues and I were in Minneapolis for a conference at the University of Minnesota. We decided that on Friday night we were going to find a fancy restaurant (or at least one that was fancier than we had been eating at) and splurge on wine and a good meal. When we ordered our drinks, the server asked for I.D.... More

Had the carbonara for lunch ($16). This is an old drug store that used to have apartments on the second floor (one reputedly lived in by Bob Dylan). Nice place to stop for lunch.

The Loring Pasta Bar was a great experience. The food was homemade Italian fare. It took a while to get the main course but it was well worth the wait. Also they feature live entertainment, the night we went was 1940's era music and dancing.
