When asked to select a place to eat, my son, a senior at the University of MN, always chooses Annie’s. Annie’s, located close to the U in Dinkytown, offers a really casual family friendly ambiance. If you are looking for a traditional burger, fries, and...a shake, Annie’s is the place to go. The burgers and shakes are super thick and the portions are generous. In addition to our burgers, three adults shared a half order of fries and a half order of onion rings and had food leftover. Finally, our service was great!More

My fiance and I went to Annie's Parlor for a Sunday evening supper. The place was packed but we were seated right away. The service was immaculate, food was top notch and the malts are out of this world

Friendly service. Outstanding malts. Even better french fries and huge portion. Simple, classic, old wood, nostalgic floor, tables, ambiance. Great deluxe grilled cheese and burgers. Definitely coming back.

Found this place through Trip Advisor! There were two in our party and we both had a hamburger, beer and shared a small basket of fries that turned out to be not that small! The waitress was helpful, food was good, decor simple but clean,...and the place was busy. We never felt rushed, prices reasonable, and we left full. Nice hamburger place.More

My brother and I came for dinner on a Sunday night. Not very busy and we sat on the rooftop patio. Ordered the turkey burger and California burger. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole wheat bun for the my turkey burger! And it was...all white meat. Then we split a chocolate mint malt. Excellent! Had real Andes mint pieces. One malt is really two! My only complaint is the service was slow. Sat for probably 10 minutes before our waitress came to our table. Had to ask for the malt that we had ordered earlier and for the bill.More

They give you huge portions of fries and shakes; one shake is enough for two people. The burgers are traditional, no-frills, and definitely way above average. It can get quite crowded at times, especially during the fall and spring semesters of nearby University of Minnesota,...Twin-Cities campus. Service can differ depending on the wait staff there at the time of your visit.More

The food was good but expensive. I had a cup of soup, tea and a burger with no side and paid ABOUT $20. The food was good but the price wasn't.

Great buns on the burgers, great malts, cute server. Fries way to greasy crisp and not potatoey enough for us. Burger meat good but not great. Chicken noodle soup average at best, very little chicken and vegetables in the soup.

Had lunch at Annie’s and was it awesome. Wonderful hamburgers, salads, fries, onion rings and milk shakes and malts. Hamburgers are hand made. For me fries are fries, but oh my those onion rings were out of this world. The milkshakes are artisan and pored...for you as they’re made at your table. A milkshake will fill up a shake glass twice. They’re we’re rootbear, Cherry, chocolate and even hot fudge combine with cherries. There were 10 of us and the bill ran 132.00.More

Food was decent but small portions and a little over-priced for the quality. I actually probably wouldn’t eat here again if weren’t for the waitress, she did a great job. There was a bus boy though that was a jerk. He spilled my friend’s malt...on the ground next to her foot and just left it there. He never came back to clean it up or offer a new one.More

The hamburgers were excellent, large and flavorful. The fries were great, and plentiful. The vanilla malt was amazing, and enough for two people. Service was excellent.

My daughter and I split a veggie burger, fries and a malt. Service was polite and fast. Veggie burger exceeded our expectations! Yummy! Great classic fries and malt! Annie’s could use a bit of a makeover inside, but for casual, affordable American food, it’s a...nice place to stop.More

A local told us this restaurant had good burgers but sadly it did not. We went out of our way to eat local during our vacation and you may want to hard pass on this one The malts were outstanding but reconsider the burgers

Very nice burgers, huge malts (with a good choice of flavors). Huge quantity of fries--full order was enough for 5-6 people. Friendly service. Way more food than 3 of us could eat. We'll go back on a hot day for the malts. Fries were also...very nice--somewhat unique; not overly salty. Service was pretty quick--but it's not a fast food place like 5 Guys either.More

We just parked in front. I can see where that might be an issue at times.
