Ate here twice while on a trip to drop my daughter at college...enjoyed it both times. Great burgers, loved sitting outside on the upstairs patio overlooking the city in the distance. Very nice wait staff as well...would recommend as a solid family place to grab a bite.

The malts are perfect size to share. The best ever. So smooth! Also had burger and fries. Ask server about what size fries to get. The portions are huge..3 of us shared a half order of fries and still had left overs.

Annie's is a very interesting place that should not be missed while visiting the University of Minnesota. The burgers are big and loaded with beef (they come with pickles only so if you want more you need to ask for it) and should always be ordered with a malt. This restaurant sits upstairs and has a down-home feel. Thoroughly enjoyed... More

My wife took me and our kids here for my birthday, and it was wonderful. A hot day, we sat outside, and the kids ordered far too much - and by that, I mean they each got a shake and a burger. It would be hard for anyone without an enormous appetite to eat all of this - the burgers... More

Ate at Annies many times, every time I am in Twin Cities I try to stop here at least once. Good burgers and fries and excellent milkshakes (my favorite one is coffee flavored) and malts. I am not a big fan of onion rings, but have heard they are good too. Simple and inexpensive, yet very enjoyable.

Every time we visit MN we always make a point to come here. The food was good as always but tonight was our last night in town until next year. Our food was wonderful but the service was terrible. We waited 5-10mins before our server ever came to our table. The young fella commented on my shirt thinking it was... More

This place is a cute little hole in the wall diner. Their burgers were fantastic and had amazing shakes. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped in after 9:00 pm last week. It had been a number of years since we were last at Annie's. The burgers are still quite good as are the malts and shakes. Our waiter was either really snarky trying to be funny or just plain snarky...it was hard to tell. The onion rings were awesome, the fries however were... More

So... Once upon a time a punk, pain in the rear young man came to the Twin Cities to study computer Science from Hawaii... he was average in ever way. Average height, average intellect, below average academic potential (laughing) because he was 17 (graduated early, wasn't mature enough to start college... was distracted very easily by pretty young women, joined... On recommendation from my niece who was a student at the uni. We were not disappointed. While not the best burger I have ever had it was pretty dang close to what you can get at home if your spouse is a grill master like mine. The malted was excellent and you get the "can" ( the mixing vessel ).... More
