After having steak for 2 nights in a row on our vacation there, we decided to go for seafood. However, not being near a sea, we thought the food might be mediocre. That was far from the truth, it was excellent. My sesame seared ahi was done perfectly and a very high quality piece of fish. My husband had crab... More

It is always good to have reservations so you are not disappointed when you arrive. We were seated promptly, received service as soon as we were seated. We order something to drink and we looked over the menu. When the drinks arrived our server explained the menu and all the options. Specials and where the fresh seafood comes from. We... More

I think the as Seafood goes this is one of the better places in the Twin Cities Metro Area to go. My wife and I enjoyed our meal and the service was fantastic. I recommend the Oceanaire for any sea food lover.

Oceanaire manages to blend the old with the new interns of interior design and old world service and can be expensive. Many who come here on a regular basis tend to request the same table, the same waitstaff and feel very much at home doing so, to others this might seem a little clubby? So if this does not appeal... My boyfriend and I took an impromptu trip to Minneapolis for the weekend of the 4th. We love great food and baseball so we thought we would make the 400 mile trip to give the city a try. Upon recommendation and through research, we put The Oceanaire on our list of places to try. We love seafood. Adore it. Try... More

My boyfriend and I arrived immediately when they opened to spend our prom dinner together. We entered and were completely blown away. It was beautiful and amazing and made me feel like I was dropped in the middle of a clear blue ocean! The service, food, and everything was unbelievable! I felt like we were in the movie The Fault... I made a 4:30pm reservation via OpenTable. The restaurant called to ask if I was doing happy hour or dinner, I said probably both, start with a beverage or two, some appetizers, then on to dinner. Restaurant then told me, "We do not take reservations for happy hour & our dinner reservations start at 5pm." I said ok, this is... More

Our daughter accompanied us to Oceanaire this past Monday evening and were promptly seated in a very busy restaurant. The food - especially the clam chowder - was excellent. Upon learning that it was our daughter's birthday & our anniversary, we were presented with a delicious dessert. The seafood might have been the best we have ever tasted.

Recently went here for my husbands birthday. Our server was wonderful-extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu. She helped select our oysters since their selection is large. They were very good. Our entrees were also wonderful. We had scallops and fresh salmon. We topped it off with dessert and coffee. The dining room has a great decor and feel and the... More
