I love Alma. This is the first time I've been (I mistakenly reserved for Cafe Alma last time, which is their next-door more casual restaurant. It's lovely, but Alma is a unique experience). I'll be back. What most appealed to me was the excellence in...More

I had a colleague once who wanted to say thanks for something and she said we’d have to go out for Pink Drinks. I think maybe she was from MN because the Ultra Pink at Alma was fresh, summery celebration all in itself. We (party...More

After hearing a good deal about Alma, we were not disappointed. We opted for the cafe, which was a great choice for informal a la carte choices. The space is bright and has a welcoming feel, comfortable and unfancy. Service was outstanding, very friendly and...More

My wife and I ate dinner here in early April on a Friday night. We couldn't believe that the place was pretty empty all through our meal because the cuisine is outstanding and the service was sparkling. Other restaurants might get hyped more, but this...More

Enjoyed an incredibly tasty baked egg strata which included mushrooms and brioche bread...the gruyere cheese topped it off nicely along with a spicy Bloody Mary. The salads were exceptional with chickpeas as a featured ingredient. The server was delightful and took care of our group's...More

Server was self absorbed. Wines were of a sweet profile. Food was prefix.. customer trapping. Lack of variety, left us underwelmed and stuffed with a $200+ bill. Look elsewhere for happy servers and decent food for the money.More

Thank you for writing. We cannot make any excuses for poor service or overly sweet wine profile pairings. We regret that we didn't provide a great experience, and if our menu format came as a surprise. We have featured the same prix fixe format for...More

Living a quick hop skip and a jump from Alma, we frequent it often! Most recently, this past Monday. Let me give you the skinny: Alma is in a sweet part of town by the stone arch and can easily be integrated into a lovely...More

Huge and puffy croissant, very soft and flaky. Cappuccino with a rich yet not overly roasted espresso.

We had a reservation at 8:15, and the restaurant was packed when we got there. The restaurant is lively and a bit dark in some spots, similar to a bistro. There are 2 levels of seating in the restaurant as well as a bar/cafe area....More

Our experience at Restaurant Alma was in a word pleasant, but it didn't meet the standards of many of the reviews read here or the price tag. Still, there a number of features that demanding diners would appreciate. The setting is more bistro like than...More
