Dinner and drinks 🍸 at Alma is perfection says the vegan 🌱 loved that they have vegan options without being a “Vegan” restaurant. The complimentary cocktails were amazing , thank you. Servers bring each item perfectly timed, service and atmosphere were superb👏🏼

This used to be a fine dining venue. When we arrived, we were told the special for dinner was a fried chicken sandwich, hardly fine dining. The drinks were so heavy on bitters that we could hardly taste the spirits. My salad was so saturated...with vinegar that it burned my tongue, but the fish entree was good, as far as I could tell. And the prices were still appropriate to fine dining, much higher than expected of a fried chicken sandwich restaurant.More

Lunch at Alma was very good. The biscuit and scrambled egg sandwich was tasty. It is counter service only paired with table delivery of your entree. Coffee was great.

What a wonderful experience! We visited the restaurant for my 50th birthday based on other reviews and were not disappointed! The food was fresh and interesting and the service was outstanding. If we lived closer we would definitely eat here more often!

This is a really delightful restaurant. I ate on the café side. The duck confit was delicious, appetizers were delightful, and the atmosphere is also terrific. The menu is limited but completely appropriate to the setting. This is my favorite restaurant to go to in...MinneapolisMore

The food was good but overpriced for what your received for a Prix Fix three course meal (only choice on menu). Use of unique ingredient pairings often masked the primary ingredient to a point it was not identifiable. This was not true of the "Duck...- Two Ways" which was excellent. Wine list for bottles was large but very very pricey. Wine selections do not justify the price listed. By the glass selections are extremely limited and also pricey but not as bad as the bottle price. Valet parking is not convenient and to retrieve vehicle you must go outside stand and wait for attendant to retrieve car and bring it around. Note vehicle is not locked during your dinner as key bob is left in car. Note there is a 3.5% surcharge on your bill to cover management offering health and retirement programs for their staff. Rather ridiculous that it is not included in price of meal which is already high. We would probably not return to this restaurant as there are superior fine dining restaurants in the area.More

Loved our meal at Alma. One thoughtful and delicious dish after another. The wine list is excellent and affordable. The staff couldn't be nicer. We sat at the bar (by choice) so we had a great view of the ballet taking place in the open...kitchen. I'd go back in an instant if only for a taste of the beet root agnolotti.More

The Alma restaurant is a place you go to if you want interesting menu options which are well presented and most importantly are delicious. The restaurant is comfortable and great for an intimate dinner with service that is attentive but not obtrusive. The menus is...a three course fixed and is fixed price, with offerings that should please everyone. During our visit the grilled linkert bread with dogs as a starter, the red beet agnolotti as a middle and the ricotta gnocchi and prawns was a meal that would not disappoint and was very delicious.More

Associated with Alma is there little Cafe with a wonderful open kitchen and a very nice breakfast and lunch menu. We just had coffee and sampled several of the baked goods offerings: an apple galette, a chocolate croissant, a lemon currant scone and a mushroom...danish. All were very well prepared and very good. The cafe has a very relaxed atmosphere and invites the diner to pause, savor the food and have great conversations. There is a small parking lot in the back but for dinner, they do valet parking. Very nice staff. Good coffee.More

This is my 3rd time eating at the Alma and each time, while the food is good I come away disappointed with the service. There is an ambivalence and lack of attention by Alma staff that makes you feel like an inconvenience as a customer...and I have felt it each visit. It is very convenient for me as a neighbourhood restaurant but next time I may choose somewhere else for dinner. Sorry Alma, train your staff better in customer service ...More
