Rich mahogany, sumptuous leather and cool marble set the stage for incomparable dining in the Hennepin Theatre District. Just blocks from the Target Center, you’ll finddry aged beef that’s always right on the mark. No wonder Zagat Survey wrote, “awesome steaks served by the pros are the order of the day.”

Service and food was excellent - celebrated a birthday and made the birthday girl feel very special - made sure we made it to the theater on time as well.

Simply put, Capital Grill serves US Prime meat and is much better value for money than many of the other better know steakhouse's in town; coupled with a nice clubby atmosphere as well.Very good choice for either pre or post theater dining. Cheers

My restaurant of choice for any theatre event on Hennepin. They make you feel special. Have taken grandchildren there to help them work on and refine public manners. The staff smiles, and helps young men seat their elders or a teen trying new food. They...More

I have to admit there are plenty of places to get great steaks in town, and if I'm being completely honest, there are a couple I prefer to the CG. But the truth is, this place is, at the very least, a guaranteed success. You...More

Great food and service. I always enjoy their different steak offerings and the Mac n cheese lobster. The location is good in downtown Minneapolis with parking nearby.

No Dress code that I'm aware of , but a nice shirt and decent jeans would be OK. Dinner with teens would be perfect.
