Our main dishes were great. I had the mushroom pot pie and it was full of flavor and interest. My date got the sole--beautiful vegetables, wonderful dish. The side of sprouts was okay. But the desserts were killer. So many crazy flavors. The one even made my lips sour pucker--deliciously fun. If you like mango, though, get the mango dessert.... More

I've been to Icehouse probably about fifteen times now. The first time was for drinks, which are always interesting/tasty/strong, second and third times were for the tasting menu at the back bar (which I highly recommend) and all of the following times were to introduce friends/family to one of my top five places to go in Minneapolis. The service/staff is... More

My friends and I went as part of a bachelor party just before Christmas. Though the atmosphere is comfortable, it's very unique (points to them for nailing both of those). The service was great, the food was well-portioned and fantastic, the drinks were super creative, and the music was really quite an impressive performance. I've already been recommending this place... More

This great music venue has a lot going on. Check out the Jazz on Monday nights. There is a good stage with a variety of seating around it on two levels. On the night I was there they moved some tables and chairs out for dancing. They have good late night eats but an even more engaging dinner menu. Friendly... More

We came here to celebrate a family birthday, and weren't disappointed. Really good, deliciously unique food pairings. Blue Grass bands were sounding so good, and had everyone's feet tapping. Great, attentive service added to our experience. Monk fish, Pork, pot-pie and Icehouse burger were VERY good. Dara recommended and Icehouse delivered. Enjoy!

We sat in the back at the chef's bar area...we had a ton of courses, all great, all creative and fun. What a great cheap date night. I say cheap on tasting menu standards, but it was worth it. Great drinks too, small pours for cheaper so you can try several. Awesome stuff

Very interesting menu items and great food. A little twist to the food. Interesting spices. Not only great burgers and fries; but also some wonderful soups and deserts. Great service.

Spent a leisurely lunch at the Icehouse in Minneapolis (2528 Nicollet Ave S) on 12/27/16 with a friend of many years. Our server, Kevin, was friendly and well-informed on the menu (especially the extensive and interesting drink menu). I started with the Mad Monk – it was amazing. Not your typical Mexican-style margarita, it had a little zip to it.... More

The live music is worth the trip, but the food is better than passable. It's standard café fare and tasty.

Went to hear Ben Cook-Feltz and Mother Banjo. Made table/dinner reservations in advance. The good was excellent.Options varied from fish to duck to ribs with many sides and desserts. Craft beer and alcoholic beverages were available. Ab excellent place to have very good food as well as music. Definitely recommend.
