I got an anniversary coupon for $10 off for dine in or take away from Gorka Palace so I decided to use it and try a take away. We ordered 3 entrees. Each entree was expensive averaging $18 each, however, I thought it was worth a try. When I got home, I found the entree was the size of a... More

We decided to eat at Gorkha Palace because our hotel had reccomended and they do have good reviewed from Tripadvisor. We had ordered the Buff Momo (steam dumplings) and Lamb Sekuwa. The dumplings were pretty tasty. The Lamb Sekura was a bit too much sodium and sour for my taste bud. But over all was great experienced.

We ate at Gorkha's Palace for the first time last week. The food was really good with great flavors. I had the Paalak Paneer which is Spinach & paneer (Indian cheese) simmered in a rich creamy sauce of organic tomatoes and cream. The others in our party had Chicken Curry, Chicken Coconut, and Shrimp Biryani which were enjoyed also. Very... More

We happened upon Gorkha Palace looking for a place to eat after visiting Surdyk's for their wine sale; we have been pining for mo mo's since our trip to Dharmsala, India in 2011 ... who knew there was a Tibetan/Nepali/Indian restaurant in Minneapolis? This is a small, unpretentious place with thoughtful, friendly waitstaff and absolutely wonderful food. We were amazed;... More

Every aspect of the dining experience is a pleasure. Food is varied, authentic, and delicious. Hospitality is genuine. My last visit was to their Friday buffet. There were about 13 choices. Sufficient variety and a good sample of what they offer. They wisely keep the focus on quality. There are choices for vegetarians, vegans and folks who like meat/chicken. The... More

Stopped here after reading an article about this restaurant. Tried the vegetable Samosas, Chicken Coconut, Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi. All of the food was excellent! Service was very good. Their free parking lot was very convenient. We will definitely be back!

it appears to be a hole in the wall type of place inside and out. However, the good could've been worth a billion dollars. Traditional and unique indian food served at different spice levels. Hint of Nepalese influence. Nice to know that good Indian food exists in Minneapolis! will definitely return

The local reviews rate this restaurant as one of the best Indian restaurants ! The food was good, the ambiance is good, the service is also good but the items are definitely overpriced. During our visit to Minneapolis in the past 4-5 years, we have tried about 20 + Indian restaurants/food joints and for sure this is one among the... More

We have been here several times. We have never had a bad experience. The waitstaff are always pleasant. The food is crave worthy deliciousness. The mango lassi here is the best. It has a bright zesty juicy fresh mango flavor without being overpowered by dairy or added sweetener. The curries and momos are wonderful. The price is a little higher... More

The staff is lovely and their service is quick. I've eaten here a couple times but now it's officially my favorite Indian/Nepali/Tibetan place! Check out their mission statement, they use local ingredients/farmers. Please go enjoy some biryani, naan & these sweet potato appetizer things! Oh and of course, navrattan korma! 👍🏼
