Nice venue in an old building in the warehouse district. Menu had a nice selection of what I would call 'small plates.' I enjoyed the goat cheese 'toast' dish which had quite a nice sized portion. The prices are quite high, but it's locally sourced, so I think the prices fit - you pay more for higher quality! This is... More

We had two tables for a family gathering of 10 to celebrate my father's birthday (he's in his 90s). The meal was outstanding. Favorite dishes: the pate' which was the lightest I can remember having, the duck and the mushrooms. But everything was great. I also appreciated the wine selections which had a great selection of French wines from various... More

We went there last night for our 30th anniversary. We live down the street and have walked past about 1,000 times without stopping, but my wife made reservations for our anniversary. The decor is nice, but nothing special. The staff was friendly. The menu is limited. The food is good, but the serving portions are small, and the prices high.... More

Before going to see South Pacific @ The Guthrie, my wife and I decided to try the Bachelor Farmer for an early dinner. The atmosphere was clean and the decor modern in an old renovated building in the warehouse district. We both ordered the three course Sunday Supper which is a special they offer every Sunday. We didn't realize how... More

I had been here previously and enjoyed the bar area. This time I booked a table in the restaurant. I took my parents. We had a reservation at 5:00 pm and arrived at 4:45. They waited until 5:10 to seat us despite the fact that my parents are elderly. Our waiter was blasé. The rest of the staff was attentive.... More

Our local friends made reservations for us all during our visit to MSP. We understood up-front that a "small plate" style restaurant will almost always be pricey, but we were fully satisfied with the delicious offerings! It was so incredibly difficult to decide among the lovely descriptions on the menu. At our friend's suggestion, we tried two of the "toasts"... More

We had a beautiful dinner here, splitting four courses and dessert. Service was impeccable. The total bill for two was only $83. Every item was totally consumed. Our favorite dish was the meatballs cooked in old water (broth kept and added to and used for days or weeks), but every item was delicious. Lemon pousset desert was great, surprising in... More

We were told to try this restaurant and we they were so right. It is a bit pricey but if you like really good food it is so worth it. The cocktails were amazing. They have a list of both sweet and savory cocktails and they are so well blended and balanced. The menu is small but the food is... More

Everything was fantastic. I had the duck, which was easily the best I've ever had. My business associate is Vegan, which is typically a challenge when we dine together. This was not the case here, the staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. I must add, the drinks and bartender are all first class.

Um, meh. Everything I had was tastey and great, but for the price I prefer different and ultimately there is better. $150 for two people with nice tip, 2 drinks each and a sampling of 4 or 5 non-entree dishes. Left hungry. Nothing is bad about the quality or taste of the food. In fact several things were so interesting... More
