Had the Ceviche and then Saltado. Delicious! Wait staff was great and the tables were spread out for proper distancing. Worth heading there for great Ecuadorian food.

Little hole in the wall with a amazing authentic home cooked Ecuadorian food. After at least 20 visits I have rarely been disappointed to any degree. My favorite is their Chalufan. Fried rice with home made pork, chicken and large shrimp. Also their potato pancakes...are to die for! Must stop in NE Minneapolis.More

One of our favorite restaurants in the NE area. Excellent, generous portions. Attentive wait staff. Never disappointed.

Excellent service with authentic meals! We went at 9pm and had to wait to be seated. We knew we were in for a treat! Affordable and delicious. I can't recommend just one thing because everything was great. Go hungry!

I’ve eaten here several times. Never had a bad meal, very good and many optionson the menu. This time I ordered the Churrasco plate with steak and ate the whole thing. Definitely enough for left overs but not this time. Others in my group ordered...the chicken churrasco option and enjoyed there meal as well. Looking forward to visiting again soon.More

All of the food is amazing. Be sure to check out the Ecuadorian fried rice (Chaulufan) and the fresh lime-aid.

Love this tiny little restaurant. They have amazing food, and the wait staff is very friendly. It's a small place, and a little loud, but we always enjoy the experience.

This place was a recommendation to eat at. So glad that we did. The servers were wonderful and helped recommend some of their finest dishes. No one in our group was disappointed. I really would like to try every dish because it was so good....This place is popular so if you have to wait a little, it is truly worth it. I will be returning when I get to this area.More

Chimborazo is a small little cafe that specializes in Ecuadorean dishes. It can get very full very quickly on weekend evenings so plan accordingly. As a vegetarian their vegetarian platter is my go-to - while my husband often waits to see what the special might...be - especially if it is seafood. The food preparation is always stellar and the wait staff friendly. I encourage anyone - especially people who want to experience a wide range of global cuisine to give Chimborazo a try - you will be glad you spend your time and money.More

Nice little place. It was to try Ecuadorean dishes. 6 of us were there the 1st time. Then we came and got takeout A couple of weeks layer for 7. Obvious;y we like it. Casual, comfortable place. Service was warm, informative and completely satisfying. Wait...person was very informative. As none of us were familiar with Ecuadorean food, we needed her help. we all recommend trying this friendly restaurant.More

It can be tricky, they don’t have a big lot. However, there is plenty street parking around

In addition to Jim's response, you should be able to order the salad (without cheese – but do check on the dressing) and I've had some delicious vegetable soups that should be safe as well. We always order the yucca... More
