Little hole in the wall with a amazing authentic home cooked Ecuadorian food. After at least 20 visits I have rarely been disappointed to any degree. My favorite is their Chalufan. Fried rice with home made pork, chicken and large shrimp. Also their potato pancakes are to die for! Must stop in NE Minneapolis.

We went on a lovely summer evening and sat outside. It was Monday and the place was busy, which says something about the quality of food etc. hard to choose what to eat, even though the menu is not huge. Everything was delicious, what a pity though no room for dessert! The vegetarian salad was big enough to need a take home box, the chicken was delicious. And the Mano drink went down a treat- twice. Small but adequate drinks choice,

I’ve eaten here several times. Never had a bad meal, very good and many optionson the menu. This time I ordered the Churrasco plate with steak and ate the whole thing. Definitely enough for left overs but not this time. Others in my group ordered the chicken churrasco option and enjoyed there meal as well. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I love this place. One of those restaurants where you feel honored to get to have access to the flavor and want to try every dish. I’ve had take out from here a couple of times and just had my first dine in experience since the pandemic and it was a very warm environment.
Enjoyed eating there with a friend and getting take out with my partner. Would be really good for a “parent’s in town” kind of meal too!
Seco de Carne and Churrasco are awesome! Also stellar tres leches.

We were visiting friends in NE Minneapolis and they recommended we dine here. What a wonderful recommendation! We had dinner here on Monday, January 16, 2023. It was a rainy evening, but everyone was sunny smiles inside including us.
First of all, they have a parking lot out back, but it only fits at best about 6 cars. I was fortunate to squeeze into a spot. Parking on the street is an option but there didn't seem to be much available close by. Keep that in mind when coming here. This place is right on super busy Central Ave.
That is all the less than favorable comments, all else was fabulous. We were greeted with big smiles and seated immediately upon entering. There were plenty of empty tables, but within 30 minutes the place was filling up. I would advise getting here early for dinners. The vibe here is beautiful, everyone seemed very happy to be there. Beautiful artwork on the walls and our server Alaaeldin was a very pleasant and informative guy. My wife had a Negra Modelo and I had a house red wine (small wine selection). My wife ordered the Seco De Pollo - stewed chicken pieces with garlic, onion, tomatoes and plantain on rice.
I had the Chaulafan - Ecuadorian fried rice with pork, chicken and shrimp with egg carrot, peas and green onion. We both agreed that these dishes were fabulous! We also loved so much their Chimichurri. Excellent!!!!
We would really love to come back sometime in warm weather and dine at their outdoor patio.

We were looking for a breakfast on our way out of Minneapolis on a Sunday morning. Found this place on the Internet and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The service was great! We shared a dish of Potato pancakes (Llapingachos), eggs, roast pork, toast all with an amazing peanut sauce and delicious coffee. This is a hidden gem!

Delicious food. Great staff. I first visited 9 years ago with my mom and my 8-year-old daughter on a visit to the Twin Cities. It was great then and I've remembered that experience all these years. So glad to find out the food and the experience are still just as great. As an appetizer, we had the Llapingachos, which were VERY delicious. They came out hot and crisped up on the outside. The egg, peanut sauce and curtido came together for one delicious bite after another. They serve the Llapingachos as a main dish with chorizo, which I plan to get next time we're here. My husband got the Seco de Pollo. He enjoyed it so much that it was gone before I got a bite. My daughter had the Encocado, which she enjoyed very much. I had the same dish I had 9 years ago: Chicken Churraso. The chicken, which was pounded thin and grilled, was full of flavor and juicy. The runny egg was just right. Beans were flavorful and delicious. We'll be back again!

Stopped in with friends for lunch. The guy next to out table seemed pretty happy with his meal. Asked the waiter for the same thing. Fish soup and a halibut platter (halibut, plantains, rice, sauce and dip). All of it was excellent. Friendly staff, good service, relaxed ambience.

We love introducing family and friends to this wonderful little spot. Truly a neighborhood restaurant, we stumbled upon it many years ago while waiting for a car repair. They have expanded over the years and we were concerned that the menu and/or quality would suffer but as yet it doesn't seem to be the case. It's amazing that so much good food comes out of such a tiny kitchen. Please don't ever change. Stay true to the ones that got you there ; -)

Wait staff was top notch - friendly, attentive, and kind. We ordered the Empanada De Carne as an appetizer to share. Definitely recommend. The Saltado was terrifically flavorful. We also had fun trying out the Chica Morada.
The Milanesa de Pollo was disappointing - not bad - but not something we would order again as there are better options available.

This place was a recommendation to eat at. So glad that we did. The servers were wonderful and helped recommend some of their finest dishes. No one in our group was disappointed. I really would like to try every dish because it was so good. This place is popular so if you have to wait a little, it is truly worth it. I will be returning when I get to this area.

Fantastic VERY local place to eat. This is way off the beaten path in a residential area. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The service and food make it worth giving a try. I had the beef stew and my wife had the flank steak special. I couldn't say which was better. Everything was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant!

Every time we head down Central Ave we end up at Holy Land, which we love, but we've always wanted to get out of that rut since there are so many other interesting looking places along that stretch. We finally tried Chimborazo and found a winner! We had the Churrasco and the Vegetarian Saltado. Both were fantastic, as were the Yuca Fritas. There was a line for outdoor seating, and we decided to dine indoors. It was quite hot inside but otherwise pleasant and charming place. We will definitely be back!!

Been here countless times, and I always make it a point to eat here whenever I'm in Minneapolis. Amazing food, good service, outdoor seating available in the warmer months.
There is a tiny parking lot, but lots of street parking around.
Don't miss out on the empanadas or yucas fritas for starters.

We come here all the time! I recommend this to locals and to anyone new to the NE area. It is a gem! I'm vegetarian. It is meat-heavy menu, but the veg options are great. Good service. Family friendly but also fun for date night. Casual and lively.
