Visited without a booking and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Menu was varied with chef specials as well as the usual range of dishes. Main meals were really well spiced and not greasy at all. Sides were generous and breads nicely crisp underneath. Drink prices were a bit steep - nearly £5 for a bottle of Kingfisher and Cobra.... Good food, was hurriedly shown to our seats the second we arrived, and felt rushed to make our selection, young chap not very talkative or happy in appearance, the other man who was a bit older did smile tho. The food was good I can't fault them for that. Just was over very quickly, for a relaxed evening meal it... More

I'm a regular to this establishment and have been for about 7 years. I've seen the changes and I've always been impressed by the quality from Ahmed and the team. The amount of dishes and flavours have increased and on little staff they cope really well. I have never seen them prioritise take aways over eat ins. I know for... More

Our large group turned up without booking mid week. We were made very welcome with the service and food excellent and well-presented.. All very clean and well-decorated. Recommend the Kashmiri rice.

4 of us came here for a family birthday on a quiet Monday. There was only one other table using them. There were two waiters, an older gentleman who was very attentive and friendly however this was overshadowed by the young man who was very rude. When our food arrived, a couple of items were missing and when we asked... More

We visited this restaurant on 5 March having booked a table for 7pm and were very disappointed with the service we received. It took over 15 minutes for us to be asked if we wanted a drink and poppadum's. We then waited another 30 minutes for the waiter to take our main meal order. We had a query about one... More

I went here as a change from the other sit down indian in Deal, Milaads which consistently provides good food and service. Which I am sorry to say was not my experience of the Bengal Diner. The tables were tightly packed to get the maximum number of people in. However on this evening it was just my family of 6... More

The meal could of been hotter but the reason l have marked it down was if you are seated the wall side it is very difficult because the shape of the seat means there is no room between the table leg and the width of the chair means to get in you have to pull the table out to the... More

Ordered a curry after a visit to the cirus. Was told an hour which was a bit of a wait but it took an hour and a half and when it arrived it was freezing cold. We called to complain to be told to go away and call back after 10 then hung up on. Called up again at 10... More

After a night out friends and I decided to stop off for a curry which was delicious, staff friendly and attentive even at a late hour.
