Our large group turned up without booking mid week. We were made very welcome with the service and food excellent and well-presented.. All very clean and well-decorated. Recommend the Kashmiri rice.

4 of us came here for a family birthday on a quiet Monday. There was only one other table using them. There were two waiters, an older gentleman who was very attentive and friendly however this was overshadowed by the young man who was very rude. When our food arrived, a couple of items were missing and when we asked... More

We visited this restaurant on 5 March having booked a table for 7pm and were very disappointed with the service we received. It took over 15 minutes for us to be asked if we wanted a drink and poppadum's. We then waited another 30 minutes for the waiter to take our main meal order. We had a query about one... More

I went here as a change from the other sit down indian in Deal, Milaads which consistently provides good food and service. Which I am sorry to say was not my experience of the Bengal Diner. The tables were tightly packed to get the maximum number of people in. However on this evening it was just my family of 6... More

The meal could of been hotter but the reason l have marked it down was if you are seated the wall side it is very difficult because the shape of the seat means there is no room between the table leg and the width of the chair means to get in you have to pull the table out to the... More

Ordered a curry after a visit to the cirus. Was told an hour which was a bit of a wait but it took an hour and a half and when it arrived it was freezing cold. We called to complain to be told to go away and call back after 10 then hung up on. Called up again at 10... More

After a night out friends and I decided to stop off for a curry which was delicious, staff friendly and attentive even at a late hour.

We have ordered three take aways from Bengal Spice this month and all we can say is that they were ok but certainly not anything to go out of your way for. On one occasion we got something totally different from that which we had ordered but we do understand that things can sometimes go wrong but I have to... More

Forgotten how many visits we have made now to this restaurant but it never fails to please! Excellent menu, served with a smile and at very reasonable prices. Would advise making a reservation if you want to eat after 7.30pm.

My partner and I quite frequently order takeaways from the Bengal Spice, and have each time been impressed by the food we recieve. The chicken korma is amazing!! Our friends alike, regard the food highly, and generally order different meals to ourselves. It takes a while to arrive through their busy times, but it remains consistantly hot.
