The Elvis Omelet and Buttermilk Pancakes

Hubby and I stayed at a hotel near Weggy’s On Campus. Although the hotel had a free full breakfast we opted to splurge on breakfast at Weggy’s-not once but twice. First morning hubby had the Elvis Omelet (eggs, peanut butter, bananas) and I had the Breakfast Tacos. Both were top notch. Breakfast tacos could easily be shared due to portion size. I loved the fact they had bacon instead of chorizo sausage, which is normally used. Hubby enjoyed the Elvis so much that we stopped again on our way out of town. He ordered the same and I ordered the short stack of buttermilk pancakes. Even the short stack was twice as many pancakes that I could eat. Wait staff was outstanding. My only critique is that of Pepsi products only as I am a Coke girl.

My family loves that Weggys serves breakfast all day. Fantastic location on the edge of campus. I so want this place to be excellent. After many visits, I would rate the experience mediocre. For example, today it was 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged at the wait to be seated stand despite six open booths within sight. Server brought a second round of beverages without clearing away the first round. Kitchen supplied cups of sour cream instead of the blue cheese dressing ordered. Our food was warm and soggy- not hot, suggesting too much time under the warmer despite a runner bringing it, not our server.All in all - ok. Similar experiences in previous visits.

we had take out dinner while visiting our daughter who goes to college in Mankato. We ordered burgers, eggs and other breakfast foods. Everything was good especially the breakfast tacos! Best of all was our total bill was very affordable.

Awful. Awful. Awful.

Heard great things about the place and Had high hopes with the world opening up again. Awful. Cold burgers. Waited 25 minutes for bacon to be cooked while the food sat. Employees that do not own up to the issue and make excuses. Never even check back for water. Terrible experience. Dont waste your money. Mcdonalds cheeseburgers are sadly better than these. And McDonalds is disgusting.

We tried to get in for breakfast on Saturday, but it was packed with a long wait. So on Sunday, we went earlier and had an excellent meal. We were seated in a "galley" type area with a lot of traffic back and forth. But the food was great!

Lobster Benedict Heaven!

Googled a "good breakfast near me" and this place popped up. The menu was great. I had plenty to choose from with all my health restrictions. The waitress let me modify the plate. Super friendly service. Sports bar atmosphere that friend appreciated. When we got our food it was INCREDIBLE!!

Great breakfast experience

Great service. Place was packed on a Saturday am about 930.....Had a couple $3 screwdrivers / Bloodys.........Lots of food and a good price!!!! We will be back to try the country fried steak and eggs platter. Saw a couple go bye and they looked amazing. We took enough home to have for our lunch later that day.

Got lunch take out last week. Easy ordering online and food was ready when they said. Burgers were good, chicken sandwich was awesome. Fries and tots too. We will be back!

Great breakfast! Went there for breakfast on at Sunday around 9:30 and it was already full, so that tells you something right away! The portions are plentiful and the staff, although busy, were attentive and ready to fill your water or coffee. We had the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries and the belly buster, both were excellent!

Great for Every Meal

I went to Weggys for breakfast with a group. It was a Wednesday morning. Got my food after everyone else was finished eating. It was cold and hash browns were only cooked on one side so other side was cold raw potatoes. My order was to have 3 strips of bacon only had 2. Toast must have been setting for a long time. Terrible. I think staff needs more training and supervision. Friends ordered were mixed up too.
