Our experience at Nollabelle was absolutely incredible! Alexis and staff went out of their way to accommodate our large group who wanted to celebrate a special occasion with a nice brunch! The food, ambiance and care that we received exceeded all of our expectations! We had food allergy accommodations that were needed and they took great care to make our food safely. Thank you so much for making our celebration special!

Mostly this review is to compliment the attentive and professional service we received from Lexi. However, good servers and service usually speaks to good management and atmosphere, which was also the case here.
We had a party of 8 last Friday Dec 2nd which we called and reserved a table for. They were ready for us when we arrived! Although we arrived in several groups, Lexi made sure that each arrival was greeted and was patient as we got settled and asked repeated questions.
The food was excellent! I asked about the soup and Lexi was well versed in the menu. She had clearly had the opportunity to try many items, so her suggestions were knowledgeable. She checked back with us during the meal and again responded to comments or needs. We all had different items from the salads to the salmon, to the grilled cheese. Also, several of us enjoyed dessert, which was quite tasty, if possibly a touch heavy on the whipped cream for the beignets.
At the conclusion of the meal Lexi provided excellent service again with her choice of language when clearing plates....she did not use the phrase "working on" which, in a quality restaurant with delicious food, is never "work" to enjoy. :) She also asked our party about the bill and split checks which was considerate and fit well into our group. She correctly and efficiently separated our checks as our group requested.

WOW!! We just tried Nollabelle for the first time, after staring at their online menu for a couple weeks. We were so intrigued by their “Small Plates” unique offerings that we made a family birthday meal out of sharing 6 of the small plates. We loved them all!! A special hats off to the fried goat cheese balls, the chicken street tacos, the short-rib egg rolls (yes! You must try!!) as well as the charcuterie platter and the roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was so yummy and fresh. You really can close your eyes, point at random to any of the items on the menu and end up with amazing deliciousness! Our server Eric was incredible too! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! We will be back!!

I really wanted to love this restaurant because they have themed mimosa flights. (Really fun idea!) But the food and service were below average. The servers were friendly but slow. We watched as many plates were left under the lights for an extended time while the servers chatted with each other or the cooks. My sandwich was cold and my friends Eggs Benedict had very little sauce. When we asked for more sauce we were told that there would be an extra charge (even though she asked only because they skimped to begin with,).

My wife and I have eaten at Nolabelle a number of times and have always had great food served by outstanding waitstaff. A few options I think everybody should try at least once are the Steak + Frites and the Jalapeno Grits . . . the Tempura Shrimp is really good too. you will not be disappointed with anything associated with Nolabelle Kitchen. 10/10.

I took the recommendation from my AirBnB host to check this place out, and I am happy I did. I ordered the shrimp cakes egg benny. The chopped up shrimp were covered in a savory batter before pan frying and covering with the perfectly poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce. Poaching eggs are not in my skillset, so anytime I see them on a menu… I must order them!

Hubby, my granddaughter and I stopped here for lunch after a tour of MN State. It was a rainy day so we sat inside. (There is patio seating outside.) Our waitress was so friendly and helpful!
Hubby had the poor boy shrimp sandwich, my grandaughter had the turkey bacon avocado sandwich and I had the black bean burger. Each one was served with a huge side of homemade potato chips which were surprisingly not greasy. All of our food was very delicious!
There were many other items on their menu that we would like to try so we will be back!

Prompt, friendly service and delicious food. We were on a roadtrip and decided this was the place for us. We had the lentil soup, the turkey bacon sandwich and the poached pear and coconut cream dessert. Loved everything!

The place was clean inside and out. The decor was nice. The food was hyped up by locals to be some of the best and it was just “okay” really. We were sat down and it took forever for our waiter to even acknowledge us. After we received water it was another 15 minutes before we saw the waiter again. When we did it was because he was taking the order of customers who came in some time after us. Their food came first of course. He seemed angry and like he didn’t want to be there

…if they invite you here for dinner, DO IT! Never having been to Mankato, we probably never would have found this place on our own, and we would have really missed out on an amazing dinner. Dining on the outdoor patio was a nice experience. We tried the rigatoni Bolognese, the maple glazed salmon, and the butter baked walleye, and they were all fantastic. Everyone sampled each other’s entrees and loved all three. We also enjoyed the butter cake for dessert. The service was fast and friendly too, with our server offering plenty of enthusiastic recommendations. Nolabelle is a place we’ll definitely be coming back to the next time we’re in town!

There is a lot to like about this place. It is bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly, efficient and attentive. And the food is pretty good too. You might have read about the goat cheese curds. They are quite wonderful, the crispy pretzel crust a perfect match for the creamy center. The apple and arugula salad was very fresh, as was the Caesar. My wife loved her spaghetti carbonara as much as the kind she had in Venice (it was that good). And the no flour dark chocolate cake was “death by chocolate” at its finest. The fresh brewed decaf was superior and the house brewed ice tea was as refreshing as could be. A few slight misses…both salads were really drenched in dressing. Next time we will ask for the dressing on the side. The pretzel breaded schnitzel was a great idea, but very much over cooked. The beignets were pretty heavy, but the blackberries and creme fresh were delicious. All in all, a pretty tasty meal. We very much look forward to our next visit.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday while on vacation from out of state. Started with the maple bacon starter and it was good. For my entrée I had the steak and frites with mushrooms. That was very good and tasty. Although really no room for anything else, we kept seeing these delectable desserts come out for other customers and couldn't resist ordering. We did split a butter cake with strawberries and it may have been the best dessert I've ever had. It was that good. Server was attentive despite being busy and understaffed. The restaurant could use another server or two.

Our first visit was takeout so I am going to ignore typical issues with takeout, like presentation, temp, some texture issues... we ordered goat cheese balls and tempura shrimp appetizers. Nothing special. The goat cheese balls were exactly that, a big ball of goat cheese. It was slightly overwhelming and something mixed into the cheese would have broke up the texture and strong flavor. Our entrees were shrimp and grits, chicken breast, and spaghetti carbonara. The shrimp and grits was great. Perfectly cooked. The spicy shrimp matched well with the creamy mild grits. I recommend the shrimp and grits. The spaghetti carbonara was good. It was a bit greasy with all the bacon and very rich fatty that could have used some freshness to break it up. The chicken breast was just ok. The chicken was very overcooked, dry, and lacked seasoning. The squash risotto was nicely done and saved this dish. Good flavor, cooked well, and the slaw like side was a fresh slightly bitter break from the rich risotto. I don't recommend the chicken.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant advertises using local sources and their food is what I'd consider upgraded comfort food. (Fine dining meets farm) Their prices are common with other places we've been that are simular style/theme but their food fell a bit below the mark. We'll probably try it again when in person dining opens back up.

We had dinner on a Sunday night after riding our bikes 45 miles from Faribault. We cleaned up and headed to Nolabelle, which was highly recommended by our B&B hostess. We started with a couple of delicious half-Caesar salads. For the main course, I had steak & frites with mushrooms and grilled onions, and my husband had shrimp and grits. We were hungry. The steak was oh-so-tender and the onions and mushrooms were sweet. It was absolutely delicious, and I ate every bite. They used a special marinade. The shrimp and grits was spicy with little peppers, but not too spicy. The chef clearly paid close attention to the seasoning of this dish. As we finished, the owner came up and chatted with us. It was really pleasant! We finished off our meal by sharing a slice of butter cake. Just wow. Next time we're in Mankato, we'll make a point to visit Nolabelle again.

Nolabelle is our go-to Friday night family date night (is that a thing?) We have made it an almost weekly tradition and it never disappoints.
Upscale restaurant atmosphere that is minimal and not at all stuffy. Clean lines and bright, natural light throughout.
Fresh, local ingredients used in unique and delicious dishes make Nolabelle an easy favorite in Mankato. Having tried close to everything on the menu at least once, my favorites are as follows:
Appetizers:
Short Rib Egg Rolls. Possibly my favorite item in the menu. The fried rolls are served on a bed of broccoli apple slaw that makes the perfect balance, finished by dipping in a spicy Korean BBQ sauce.
Others apps I recommend are the Buffalo Chicken street tacos, Buratta plate, and the roasted Brussels sprouts.
Salads:
Kale and Brussels Sprout salad is my favorite. The bacon vinaigrette makes it savory and I forget it's a salad. Delicious.
Sandwiches and Mains:
Turkey Avocado is a crowd pleaser. The juicy turkey and garlic aioli is tasty and comforting every time.
Peach + Bacon Grilled Cheese is a spicy sweet handheld that is a perfect balance of spicy, tangy, and sweet.
Spaghetti Carbonara or Rigatoni Bolognese if you're in the mood for pasta. Shrimp and Grits- the cheddar jalapeño grits are addicting. Or the Steak and Frites, be sure to add the onions and mushrooms.
There are so many delightful dishes on the menu it is really hard to go wrong. Pair this with excellent service every time and all this equals my, hands down, favorite restaurant in town.
