We descended as a very large group from the nearby by camp site (Fox Wood) and discovered a large garden, a large menu and relatively sober prices. What was a really nice surprise was the speed of the service and quality of the food. Most...More

My wife's family have lived in the area for the past 30 years or so, but amazingly this was my first visit to this spacious, comfortable country restaurant-come-pub. Our family group visited on a summer midweek evening where we found the service very attentive. Enjoyed...More

Just finished a lovely 5.5 mile walk around the countryside north of Angmering. Nice views back down the valley, and an oddly named "farm". Thought I'd treat hubby to dinner en-route at the Worlds End at patching. We'd eaten there before, but hadn't been impressed....More

I visited The Worlds End with my boyfriend on a Wednesday lunch time, the more formal dining area wasn't particularly busy and there was about 3 more tables in use, with at least 3 wait staff working. I cannot comprehend how it took so long...More

Visited with a group of friends and shown to a nice quiet table, we didn't pre book. Had to ask for sandwich menu as waiting staff seemed a little laid back. We ordered individually and they made an effort to bring out all of our...More
