Inspired by the opening ceremony of the Olympics we went to try out Samba in downtown Hopkins. We were guided through the menu by our host who explained the different traditional Brazilian dishes. Highlights included Calabrese Sausage with onions as an appetiser followed by Feijoada stew, tender pork with black beans, rice and collard greens, Bobo, rich buttery coconut sauce... More

Wonderful family run authentic Brazilian right in the heart of Hopkins. Appetizers to desert nothing disappointed. We all got something different and everyone loved why the ordered.

You might want to stick with the more traditional American food that's on the menu, but since you're at anbrazilian restaurant, try something different. Very good.

I ordered the Moqueca with mixed seafood. My husband got the Churrasco with sausage, chicken and steak. Both were amazing. If you like spice, ask for the house hot sauce which has good heat and tremendous flavor. Friendly family and fairly priced. I will be coming here again!

My husband and I love our Brazilian meals (see other reviews about Fogo de Chao) but when we are not looking to drive downtown, this is a VERY comparable alternative. I love that they are pegged at the Hopkins pricing, rather than going the overpriced route. For this reason, I will always say that the value is here. The food... More

Some coworkers at my wife's place of business recommended Samba so I went along for the ride. I ordered Churrasco expecting skewers of meat and chicken. What I got for $19 was a very dry piece of grilled chicken breast, a not so pleasant tasting sausage about the size of a breakfast sausage, a scoop of white rice and a... More

Three of us came here for lunch. It was a snowy day and the manager told us that there was much more business than they usually have for lunch (the room was about 2/3 full at noon. We tried different dishes, pictured below. The food is distinctive, prices moderate and service very good, especially give that one person was serving... More

The food is great!!! Love the Brazilian cheese bread, it's even gluten free. They can do most of the menu gluten free. This place has great food and I highly recommend going.
