I thought dairy queen was the only place that could screw up a simple hambuger but I was wrong. Service was fine but the food was bad. To top it off a little girl vomited three times by the cash register on our way out. Steer clear of the buffet/salad bar

We were given this place based on friend recommendations. The Salad Bar, 7 Bread options and Soups were the best route. It is not spendy. Steaks were really good, patty melt was average. 5 meals with 5 waters was $70.

This is the restaurant that was brand new in 1964 and the one my husband took his prom date...so return looking for pan fried Walleye and for old times sake. Very disappointing. He had Walleye which was coated in batter and deep fried (dripping oil), I had steak...tough, recooked when I asked as it was under done...really poor....

I had the seniors fish fillet and a baked potato and a side salad. It was really good. My daughter had Hawaiian chicken sandwich and really didn't like the bread. It was very expensive when she added a side of fries and a small side salad. Their specialty is comfort food.

We stopped by on our way through town, chose Cassidy's and I am glad we did. We both had the salad bar, which was really good, everything on it was fresh. All kinds of fresh baked bread. HIGHLY recommended!

I like to check out local fare while on vacation. This restaurant did not disappoint. I had the Swedish meat balls over noodles, which was pretty good. My husband had the buffet. Some dishes where really delicious and some had a lot to be desired. The bread was really good and service was nice.

Taco Tuesday is fun with kids; but the salad bar is one of the best I have seen. Includes a hot dish item and two soups. The breads are wonderful and more choices than most restaurants offer. It provides small town service that is friendly and a full menu for those who want more than a salad bar. Includes alcoholic... More

Cassidy's is known for its salad bar buffet, $10.95. On the buffet you'll find standard salad fare plus soups, breads, pasta salads, and some hot foods that will vary. (When we went, there was a lasagna and hamburger wild rice hot dish.) We came in with a very large party and the service was excellent.

The outside of the building is not fancy, nor is the inside. However the salad bar was very good with all kinds of salads, homemade breads, 2 soups and a taco bar for $12! The rest of the menu was a bit pricey. Nothing super special but good!
