We stumbled on this restaurant a number of years ago. Wow-what a find. Hidden away in strip mall, a wonderful dinning experience. Top notch service and the food has always been spot on. Nice selection of Italian fare and a great wine selection to compliment the wonderful dishes. Our server was friendly and attentive and always available for recommendations off... More
Kudos to Annie, our server. She was amazing. She had time to banter with us yet kept on top of all of her server duties. She even pleased my brother-in-law who is very difficult at times. The food was excellent. We all tried different things on the menu and shared tiramisu for dessert. Between the 5 of us we had... More
We noticed this restaurant driving past the parking lot and decided to give it a try and we are happy we did. The specials are based on regions of Italy and they are really interesting. The main menu has some great selections too. We ended up each having the caramelized pear and walnut salad with Gorgonzola cheese and split the... More
We went on a Sunday night for their great "date night" deal (two multiple course dinners for $50). As an extra 'add-on' we thought that the Venetian menu special beef carpaccio would be good to share amongst the table. We started with the mussels in Parmesan dill cream sauce and they were superb! The sauce was to die for and... More
Campiello is a fantastic combination of wonderful food and truly excellent service. The menu reflects continuous effort to achieve authentic Italian cuisine, with both specials and the regular menu. Our server was very attentive even though she was very busy with a crowd that was beginning to flow into the restaurant from the Ryder Cup. There is a warm and... More
This is a great restaurant for business meetings over lunch. The daily menu specials keep things fresh and are always fantastic. It is easy to conduct business over lunch and the noise level is conducive for having a conversation. Service is attentive but respectful. I would highly recommend the entree salads - the always delight!
A friend and I made reservations for after work. VERY attentive server who kindly answered all questions. We settled on a couple of the featured cocktails and wood fire pizzas. I had shrimp pesto one...great mix of flavors. My friend had one with fennel sausage...also good. Hadn't been to Campiello's in a number of years so was nice to know... More
The location requires an automobile and a map, but once there it is worth while. The Twin Cities have few upscale, quiet restaurants where there is room between tables and little noise to allow an unhurried, pleasant dinner and conversation. Very few of those have an ambiance and service to match, and then there is the food, which for the... More
