While taking the "North Shore Scenic RR" tour, we learned about this cute eatery. It has a unique menu for lunch. I had the black bean burger & my husband had a bacon hamburger; both delicious! We enjoy going where the people who live in the area frequent; this place is friendly & fun!

I only go to the Lakeside neighborhood a couple times a year, but every time I'm in the neighborhood, I stop at the New London Cafe for lunch and it never disappoints. I've tried a few different meals, but always go back to the Stormy Weather Stacker with onion rings (which are probably the best I've ever had). Water with... More

A little gem you wouldn't know about unless someone you know tells you about it. We went twice while in Duluth. I had soup both times and it was delicious. Kids had cinnamon rolls for lunch and loved them. Husband had chicken and artichoke sandwich and said it was outstanding. We also had egg salad sandwiches. Real egg salad! Very... More

Lovely, quaint, home town diner. Superior staff, top notch service, easy parking, brilliant menu. Was told to meet my local friends here years ago, I had their meat free wildrice "Backbacker" burger, the Chipotle sauce is a perfect balance on this delightful treat! Never can finish their breakfast specials. It's like eating at grandma's house. Great prices, loads of food,... More

The breakfast here is very good- classic cafe style. They have a nice selection of salads and a decent wild rice burger. I would guess that meat eaters would be more pleased with this restaurant. Their coffed is good.

Breakfast and coffee is always great. Affordable for a family of four. We always like our food. Only tried lunch menu once a couple years ago and it was great too.

Great place to get a quick bite, I keep missing their breakfast, I am sure it is great. Good atmosphere too, especially when you get the cozy window table.

With a regular flow of locals, the New London Cafe is a terrific place to grab a Sandwich, Soup, and a slab of pie. It's casual and cozy; the diners vary from local business-people to spandex-clad skiers, refueling after a fex hours at nearby Lester Nordic Trail. The sandwiches are packed full and vary from hot porchetta to Reubens, to... More

New London Cafe Review The first sound I heard is tinkling bells as I pulled open the door to the New London Cafe. The cottage-styled cafe was warm and inviting. Small tables were scattered throughout room, most of which were full of laughing people. Soft music played through the cafe. The large front windows let in bright winter light, brightening... More
