In the neighborhood and hungry, always trust my handy TripAdvisor reviews and this popped up so thought we'd try it. So happy we did! Had the chicken pesto sandwich and a whiskey bacon burger and wow! We were impressed! Enjoyed the happy hour beer selection, tried some new brews and the customer service was awesome! Definitely be back :)

Stopped in for a beer when we were in Canal Park. We had some appetizers and sat at a table by the window - which has a better view than the inner tables.

Great beer selection. Ordered beef nachos. I would be willing to bet there was less than 1/8 lb beef on those nachos. And they were cold. Sorry wont b back.

We came here for appetizers because we got free drink tickets from the hotel next door we were staying at. We had a few drinks and ordered pretzel bites and fried pickles. The pretzel bites were the best I've ever had. I'm already craving them again. Pickles were good too. Service was a little slow. Our waitress seemed really busy.... More

We went in here for some drinks and pizza. The ladies had mojitos and thought they were great. We ordered pizza and that was very good. The service was great also.

We had lunch here after running Grandma's marathon. Canal park was hopping, a couple other restaurants had 1 hour waits. Old Chicago found room for us very quickly. We were greeted by our server as soon as we sat down. The food came reasonably fast, and was delicious. The service was outstanding. We were very impressed with the food and... More

We stopped there for a drink we went to the bar and the bartender said he would be right with us . He kept waiting on new people who had just stepped up to the bar, after ten minutes we walked out . They were not very busy. There was no excuse

After being disappoint at several local, non-chain placed we tried Old Chicago in the heart of the Canal Park. It was great food, reasonable prices, no waiting and friendly staff. Can't go wrong if you are looking for something reliable and good.

For $8 you can get a personal size pizza with two toppings & a salad or a calzone with a salad. A calzone can either have meat & one side, but my favorite happens to be the vegetable calzone with broccoli, spinach, tomatoes with mozzarella cheese. More than enough to eat! Tasted great and we were done in less than... More

My significant other and I stopped in to Old Chicago after dinner at another restaurant. Neither of us had been here before and we were hoping it was local; unfortunately we were wrong. The atmosphere was good - that of a sports bar. The beer menu was very expansive and the bartender, Scott, was quite knowledgeable of the different craft... More
