Romantic restaurant for fairly expensive Italian food. In Canal Park and recommended for couples looking for a special dinner. Pasta was good and extremely filling. Bread and wine menu great.

Bellisio's was our stop for lunch. They had the most wonderful wine list and a large lunch menu for fare from salad to of course pastas. We all had a salad which was large enough to share. It was beautiful sitting outside. We would definitely stop again if in the area. Service was a little slow but they were very... More

Its not cheap at all but I'm not unhappy about what we got for our money. The Walleye (fish) was just divine. The service too is exceptional. Discreet but always there when needed. Left very happy

Really good food. Really good service. My wife ordered the salmon special with aparagus. I had the Pappardelle alla Norcina. My finicky daughter had spaghetti with marinara on the side (not on the menu). Used a coupon from a book we got at the zoo to purchase a four wine flight of chianti. The only dessert we got was the... More

Usually visit and dine in the bar area. The pasta is excellent along with the service. I always take my clients here and all have a good time.

We were in town for an afternoon with no specific agenda and came across Bellisio's by chance. It could be that we were coming in from bright sunshine but my initial impression of the inside seating was that it was dark...like so many northwoods supper clubs. We opted for outdoor seating on the terrace which was pleasant. Since we were... More

I found this restaurant to be a bit expensive with the food and wine selections but well worth a treat or a special dinner. Pasta dishes delicious as well as bruschetta and Caesar salad.

Description
Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since 1999
Bellisio’s restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while all this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. And no wonder. The experience is fashioned after the small village of Bellisio, Italy, home to the owner’s ancestry. Imported direct from Italy are the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious recipes. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared pasta dishes using the finest imported and local ingredients; fennel roasted rack of pork; homemade risotto dishes; grilled steaks; shrimp; seafood; and a fresh catch feature every day. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Bellisio’s has received Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since we opened in 1999. It’s a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dining experience.
