After a long day in Duluth we took our Canadian relatives to Pickwick. Our server Carly was terrific as was the food I had a Rachel, very good, along with the onion rings which are excellent Others had a burger, French dip, cod, all were happy. The only issue which wasn't huge was that it was a bit warm, I... More

Visiting Duluth and decided to try an Irish pub. This was right up there with the really good ones. They had Alaskan White beer on tap (a first since Anchorage two years ago)!!! The smoked white fish appetizer was first class. My roasted beet/tenderloin salad was delicious. My girlfriend's grilled trout with rice pilaf was equally good. For dessert we... More

We stopped here at the suggestion of the furniture store employee. We asked for ideas for lunch that is local's favorite. She suggested we should try Pickwick if we ever get a chance. So off to downtown we went. It is very old and nostalgic. We enjoyed looking at the interior of the restaurant and enjoyed the history. It was... More

The rib eye was excellent cut meat and perfectly prepared. The sides were a nice compliment. The service was friendly and prompt. A great meal with a view of one the best harbors anywhere. I definitely recommend eating here.

This is the second time that I have reviewed this restaurant in five years. The food is still just as great as always and the service is good too. A late lunch we decided to take in a little sun and fresh air by dining outside. It was great! Despite being outside the service was just as good as being... More

Really cool "historic" restaurant - they had great drinks (house made pineapple infused vodka) and super tasty food! My salad was delicious, the homemade bread was fabulous and the walleye sandwiches were yummy!

We were fortunate to snag a table by the window, facing the Lake. The history in this place is simply amazing. There are pictures of just about everything Duluth on the walls and the menu itself has wonderful stories. The interior is genuinely "old". Everything from the carpet to wainscoting, antique lights and even furniture makes you feel like you've... More

Description
The Pickwick is Duluth's landmark restaurant situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Best known for its steaks and seafood from the only indoor charcoal grill in the area. There are also great burgers and sandwiches for under $12. The banquet room accommodates up to 50 people and offers privacy for business or family occasions. The bar has been restored to its 1940 layout offering an energetic atmosphere for all ages. Two happy hours - before dinner and late night - keep the bar hopping from 4am until close. The dining rooms bring back the history of the Pickwick which has been operating since 1914. Fine dining is at its best with our excellent serving staff along with the creations of Chef Jake Sutula. Reservations are accepted. Come see why the Pickwick has been Duluth's place to be for nearly a century!
