I love how close this place is to the aerial lift bridge. After walking along the pier for a while we decided we needed a break. My parents love Grandma's so of course we decided to stop here. You have the option of actually getting a table and having a full lunch or sitting at the bar and just snacking... More

We went for lunch, on a weekday. We were thrilled to have no wait, and get a table right away! Our server was very friendly, and gave great service. It did not take very long to get our order. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and looking around at so many interesting things. Three in our group ordered the fish & chips,... More

Thought to give it one more try and was even more disappointed. Food was bland and over cooked mostly. Wings were good tho. Definitely not worth the money.

A typical chain restaurant. Pleasant experience, host and wait staff was fine. The food was good. No better or worse than other restaurants of this type. Great location, easy to get to.

We visited Grandma's Saloon & Grill during their Oktoberfest celebration. It was a very enjoyable event. We enjoyed wonderful German cuisine and beer while listening to a fabulous Polka band. The atmosphere was incredible! It was such a fun time that it made us want to sing and dance in our seats! This is definitely a must do event!

My family and I stopped for lunch at Grandma's, were seated promptly and put in our orders. It took at least 45 minutes for our food to come out (the restaurant was not busy) and when it did half of the dishes were cool to cold. I had the brat, which besides being cold was tough and tasteless. The type... More

Grandma's is located near the Lift Bridge in the touristy area of Duluth, don't dismiss though, very good food, service and atmosphere. Not just standard pub fare but a variety of interesting healthy choices.

Quirky restaurant, good service and food; allowed us to split a meal and that speaks to it's portions - big. Quite a variety on their menu

Classic fare in a large two story restaurant with bridge views. Avoid the wait and grab dinner in the bar because this place gets PACKED. Great bloody mary and the well drinks are huge. Loved the pot pie and salad the wife and I split.

The food here is delicious and the specialty drinks are so good! Service is always friendly! Watch out for prime eating times though cause the wait can be very long

Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
