The French toast was amazing ! The waiter and staff are outstanding and the music was very entertaining! What a fun, laid back hippy joint to visit. The walls are decorated with pictures of all musicians who have played there.

We've eaten here several times and are yet to be disappointed. The menu changed since our last visit two years ago. What did not change were the wonderful sandwiches served on fresh, delicious bread. We had minimal wait time, as we were there mid afternoon on a Monday.

Came on Thursday of tall ships, got good coffee and some of the best eggs Benedict I had ever had, an hour later 2 out of 3 of us got diarrhea , fast n furious!. Somebody did not wash their hands, or??? Revenge for me complaining about slow coffee,? either way, I'm undecided , great food AND diarrhea .

The sandwiches are the best, and the breakfast is the best in town. Cool garden level location that is a great place to get out of the sun and enjoy a cup of coffee and your favorite baked goods.

Great place to stop in for a quick bite to eat, cup of coffee or any of their wonderful bakery. You may want to stop in early for a scone to start your day.

I have never left a restaurant before because of a rude employee but this time I did. I used to waitress and know how hard it is. We waited 15 min at our table before the waiter finally came over, at which point he simply stared at us with pen poised. There was an awkward 10 seconds of us staring... More

Amazing Grace Bakery & Cafe is located in a basement @ the DeWitt-Seitz Marketplace. If you seek a homemade bread sandwich, homemade soups and desserts...consider this place. Warning: long lines in the summer/fall tourist seasons. The restaurant hosts musicians but check out their web site for entertainment

We wanted to enjoy an outside dinning experience for our last day in Duluth. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get seated outside. The manager was seating folks and cleaning tables and all. They needed more help. I ordered pancakes and my wife ordered French toast. We me joyed bacon and home fries with it. The food was... More

This is our second trip to Amazing Grace Cafe. The food is good, but pricey at $8 for a sandwich. The atmosphere reminds me of a coffee house from the early 60s era. Very cute and quaint with homemade breads, cookies, and rolls.

Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.
