We heard music and followed it until we were here. Fun little place. We went back the next morning for breakfast. Wonderful food!

This is our out of town stop every time we leave Duluth. We plan our departure on stopping for breakfast. Very homey feel. Nothing matches for decor and dinnerware! Staff is friendly and low key. Fresh baked goods and good coffee selection.

If you are in a rush, this place is NOT for you. However, that being said, what a fabulous atmosphere and unique breakfast! We sat inside because the outdoor seating was full, but had to opportunity to enjoy some great live music and an extended visit. Coffee and tea beverages were very good, breakfasts (French toast, Yukon platter and Breakfast... More

Very slow service and very average baked goods. Ordered peach ginger coffee cake. It was served cold then when I asked for it to be heated the whole bottom was soggy . Cookies looked more promising. Kids had traditional breakfast which they said was good . Service could really be improved by just ordering at the counter and having food... More

Great bakery. Menu offered good quality traditional breakfast food. The coffee was fabulous. The biscuits and gravy with chorizo was amazing! The biscuits were homemade. The kids loved their pancakes. Would highly recommend!!

Delicious baked goods and coffee all day, plus a regular schedule of live music in the evenings. Nice touches: Hot tea comes in its own Japanese pot, and the tables are covered in assorted cheery oil cloth, or maybe a collection of old photos and cartoons. Check their bulletin boards for fun and offbeat things to do around town.

Wow. The Wild Rice Eggs Benedict was amazing! Great coffee (strong!), nice patio, good service. We didn't go inside at all to see the main dining but were happy to be on the patio on a beautiful morning.

Cold windy day for a walk by the Lake made getting to Amazing Grace even more welcome than usual. In out of the cold with a hot cup of great coffee and two muffins. A raspberry peach that was moist and filling with a crispy edged top had such a nice mingling of flavors and real pieces of peach that... More

My wife and I went out for breakfast here, I have to say the food was outstanding. It seemed like it was made from scratch and there was TLC put into the food. Our server was nice and accomodating. The only negative was the cost of the food. I spent 35 dollars for breakfast for the two of us including... More

I have never been in a restaurant such as this. I went to the counter and was ignored when a friend of the clerk came in. She left serving me to talk! I finally got my order taken and it took 20 minutes to get. When the food arrived it was partial order. No explanation was given and I had... More

Description
Everything from our award winning breads to our crisp golden hash browns are made from scratch daily. Whether it's muffins for your morning meeting or a cake for your wedding, the Amazing Grace Bakery and Cafe is gladly here to serve you. We have always seen the need for locally conscious and globally friendly businesses. That's why we also specialize in local eggs from Promised Land Farms, local honey from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch, fresh local beer from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company, beans from local roasters Alakef, local syrup from Simple Gifts, all of our to go containers and utensils are compostable, and we also compost all of our food and coffee waste. This bakery that added a coffee shop that started making sandwiches that started making breakfast all in the same spot has been locally owned and operated since its inception, 1995. Built on one iconic saying from our late founder, "be kind, be brave, don't eat bad bread", the Amazing Grace has held true to those ideals for nearly two decades and will for many more to come.
