Revolving restaurant at the top of the Radisson hotel. The hotel itself is a little dated but take the elevator to the top and be treated with stunning 360 degree views of Duluth while you eat. It feels like you are in a rich person's...library with antiques and nautical art rotating slowly by. This restaurant feels a little more formal than most in Duluth (which still doesn't mean its formal) but is a perfect date or anniversary dinner location. There is a small bar too if you just want a drink and a view. Reservations often needed, we have been turned away before when we didn't have them other times accommodated. It isn't my favorite restaurant in Duluth but is a go to for special occasions or to begin a special night out.More

This was the third time I have dined at the Radisson Duluth while in the area. My expectations were high. I can only say there will not be a fourth time. What has happened? The facility is shoddy; table cloths askew, table settings non existent,...drapes by elevator were filthy five inches up from the floor, etc. Where is the polished wait staff? I still focused on my dinner. I ordered the T-Bone steak with Creamy garlic mashed potatoes and an ala carte salad. The steak was so gristly I couldn't cut it fast enough to check if it was "medium well". It wasn't. The potatoes were not mashed, large pieces of potato still needing attention. I actually felt obligated to say something. It was indiated that the manager would be right out. That never happened. The waitress indicated I would not be charged for the T-Bone and brought me a bill for the salad. This was once a top notch revolving restaurant. I do not know what their niche is now. I would recommend Fitgers.More

Another recommendation that hit the mark for us. We were told the ambience was the high note, and the food was good. We loved the view, my husband loved his craft beer. I wasn't impressed with the wine list, felt like you can improve in...that area. I did really like my cocktail though and presentation was well done. We started with the crab dip and it was good, we've had better, especially in coastal N.C, but it was yummy enough for us to eat it all, lol. Husband had the duck and he loved it, he was happy he took a gamble and tried something new. I decided to try something new as well and had the roast veggie sandwich. I absolutely loved it, the aeoli was so good, the hint of onion was spot on. We'll be back, adding this spot to our must have rotation and thanks for a great meal! Addition: Forgot to mention our waiter, lol. We greated promptly, he was knowledgeable about menu items and delivered great service. He didn't know one answer, but didn't hesitate to ask what I assume was the manager. He was super friendly without being intrusive, just perfect for our evening.More

Ate here on our anniversary because my wife had never been here. The view and experience is what your paying for. The food is just decent but better options for the money out there. Service was really slow but I wonder if they do that...so you can enjoy the whole view as it takes over an hour to make a full loop. It would be nice if they did something else with the bar as the people sitting there were really loud as you come around the corner.More

4 of us went for the Easter Brunch "Buffet". The restaurant was very interesting. The Good: The Walleye was lightly breaded and had a light, delicious sauce. The Prime Rib was flavorful and cooked properly. Two types of salads and two types of soup. Bread...pudding and Mint Creme Brule for dessert. The Bad: the sides were mediocre; stuffing, baby carrots and green bean casserole. The Really Bad: One of our party had a pork allergy and one had an onion allergy. This was mentioned to our waitress multiple times. Unfortunately, the green bean casserole contained bacon, a pork product, which was not mentioned to any of our party. The person with the pork allergy had to make an emergency run to the bathroom. The person with the onion allergy avoided the stuffing knowing that it normally contains onion (which it did). There was no apology from the Manager of the Day, nor from the waitress. At least, not until we pulled our waitress aside and asked to speak to the manager. At least we were able to take the replacement meal home for the person who lost their brunch...and appetite. A serious disappointment for an otherwise nice restaurant.More

Spent a few days in Duluth for my wife’s birthday and stayed at the Radisson. Due to the inclement weather, we decided to stay in and eat at the JJ Astor. Made reservations due to limited seating capacity amid the pandemic. We were greeted and...seated promptly as we stepped off the elevator. Our server was polite and respectful. Informed us of the drink and appetizer specials. Our drinks and appetizers arrived quickly and were delicious. I ordered the smoked duck cavatappi. It was prepared perfectly with just a touch of smokiness on the duck adding to the full flavors of the Gouda sauce. The revolving room gave a panoramic view of the city as we dined. A perfect relaxing ambiance for dinner.More

Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say. We came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Our server forgot about us and after 3 tries to get his attention and the managers (45 mins after we had placed our order that included an app we got...after our meal and were still charged for). Our server walks over and says I'll check on your food! 10 mins later he brings out cold soggy food. Still no app. We ask about it and he says oh yeah! And walks off before we could say we didn't want it any more. We had to check out of the hotel! At some point we stopped the manager. We weren't looking for a free meal. Just wanted to voice our frustration. It wasn't busy, multiple ppl had came And left before we got our cold food, and we felt the need to say something. I'm not that person usually. But it was justified. The manager was cold and rude. He made a scene in front of people and then walked off. Sadly. Sounds great? But it just wasn't? Maybe your experience will be better?More

“A revolving restaurant” is what caught my eye in a visitor’s guide. Seated quickly, ahh-mazing food! We had their mushroom app, alfredo dish for hubby & meatloaf for me. Even after dinner drinks. Yummm, delish! Great service. Excellent views!

Food was very good and the views can't be beat. Something everyone should try at least once when in Duluth.

Soda....? Sure. I have no idea what a soda would cost. Can't be much....and if it is....remember...the view.

The Bar is outstanding as they will adjust your favorite drink to suit you. Bloody Mary's are served with heart of celery.
