Definitely a gem of a place in the Twin Cities area! The exterior is very unassuming, just another unit in a small shopping strip; the interior is a trip into Mexico. Tile laden tables, colorful chairs, and Mexican decor adorn the walls. I've been there a few times already and every time has been a treat. The al pastor tortas... More

Ate Lunch here today,Had the Alambres Al Pastor,(mini Tacos with Marinated Pork), my Wife had the same thing with Pollo(Chicken). This was one of the best Mexican Meals we've had in a very long time. The food was fresh, vibrant, and incredibly tasty, never before had I used the Lime wedges, and now I get it. This will be on my to do list... More

Attentive efficient management of customers. Clean surroundings but... Yawn... Basic Mexican authentic food... Not too exciting. Maybe a little scary if control of calories and better quality meat is of interest. Deconstructed the pork cut is of marginal quality.

Had lunch here and loved it. Tried three different tacos and all were good. Service was good and fast.

Brightly lit and inviting, this place has nothing to hide. It is so sparkling clean you could eat from the counters or floors but get a table fast because even on a Tuesday night this place was hopping. Taqueria La Hacienda appears to have a number of very regular customers and I took that as a good sign. The fact... More

I had a quick lunch - sampled three of the beef tacos which are only $1.90 each. The Carne Asada (charbroiled steak), Lengua (beef tongue), and the Cecina (salted sliced beef steak) (can you tell I like my beef?). I think my favorite was the cecina because the meat was more seasoned. The carne asada and the lengua meat definitely... More

Rice was hard, shredded beef was very greasy and the burrito overall was just gross. I will never go back there again. First time was the last time!

Just ate here for the first time upon a family member's recommendation. Authentic and amazingly better that most no flavor everything tastes the same Mexican food in Minnesota. Even though it is fast food style, not table service, it is surprisingly great. Clean and relaxed strip mall front, but nice. We will be going back here to check out more... More
