Recently was in the area so had to see if it was still as good as ten years ago. Yes indeed Homemade food that taste so good. Big portions at great prices. A little out of Houlton well worth the little time to get there!!

As soon as we walked into Grammy's we were greeted by very friendly staff members. It was extremely busy but the wait was not too long. As we waited we were surrounded by cases of the most delicious looking desserts. We could hardly wait to...More

Dropped into Grammy's (our second visit) on June 30th around 3:30 p.m. Man alive what a disappointment --- again, no one could complain about the portions (other than they are too big), but the quality of the food was something else. Tepid mashed potatoes that...More

Have been many time over the year growing up and I was recently in Houlton and stopped in. Grabbed the ruben and it was delicious. Served with home chips, which were very good, and a pickle. Friendly staff and clean. Will head back next time...More

Many of our friends raved about Grammy's so we took a road trip and weren't disappointed. The scenery of rural Maine was lovely and the restaurant buzzling. Huge portions, enough for 2 to share. Too full for dessert but took ours to go. When we...More

We planned to stop in for a quick cup of coffee, after a man we met randomly a year ago told us we need to go there. But wet couldn't resist the Deep Fried Fiddleheads and Poutine. The two of us couldn't finish small orders...More

Good home cooked food but far too large of portions. Most people probably don't have a problem with this, but so much food is wasted, especially if it isn't taken home. You might want to think about sharing a meal. Especially French fries, onion rings,...More

Are all seafood meals fried or do you also bake? My wife is gluten and lactose intolerant. Do you cater for that too?

They will bake (and perhaps steam) cook upon request. Many dishes are already lactose-free and do not bother me. You may have to ask them over the phone about gluten-free items. :)
