The burgers and pizza were very good but they don't make their own pizza they have a local pizza place make the pizza but it was very hot and fresh

We were driving back from the Headwaters Park and were looking for an easy, inexpensive dinner. Saw the sign and pulled in. My sister and I shared the nachos...they were ok, I've had better but they were sufficient. Our husbands had burgers which were good...however I was sort of surprised they didn't serve fries, only potato chips. Typical bar atmosphere. Popcorn was free but we were not told about it. Stopped for a drink and was very surprises to see food. This place is a locals place with history. The burgers are great like all the food. Prices are mid-range. Would eat here again.

Stopped here the night we arrived in Bemidji for our trip up to Lake of the Woods for some ice fishing. Flight arrived late but stopped in for a couple drinks before they closed. Liked it so much we stopped by again a couple days...later for a quick lunch before our flight. Had a great cheeseburger and bowl of chili. Will gladly stop by if I find myself back in Bemidji.More

We ate outdoors and the area was nice although right next to the parking lot. They offered a gluten free bun which was awesome for my daughter (although they failed to toast/warm the bun so that it wasn't cold - even after 2 requests to...do so). We ordered burgers - nothing overly special but was good. We would eat there again.More

We stopped for a light dinner mid-way on our travel plan for the day. We split the grilled ham and cheese sandwich - it was as typically good as should be expected. The four others in our group were equally satisfied with their sandwich meals....This is a great example of a local bar/pub/restaurant that will always provide a great atmosphere, with good food and drinks. Sue had one of the local draft/craft beers, an IPA, and was happy with it.More

We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The burgers wonderful ! They don't serve fries, so don't look for that - you get chips instead. I'm not a drinker, so can't comment on the drinks other than you can have alcohol with...your food. Free parking, too.More

Great friendly service and fast. Known for tasty burgers and chili. Favorite of many locals. Log cabin decor adds to the Up North feeling. Or stop by for a cold beer or cocktail.

Wonderful burgers. This is a plain eatery but great burgers. Fresh, good beef with lots of options. They do not have fries here.

Comfortable, casual burger bar. Killer chili and really good burgers. When we want a good old fashioned burger, this is where we go.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. The service was excellent! The food was standard bar fare burgers but with some interesting varieties. Tasted like a burger from my childhood...in a good way. The decor is very local. The place is...small but works well for their mission. I would definitely go back!!!More

Great little meeting place for a burger and a beer! Always fresh popcorn too. Service is top notch and the atmosphere is cozy - you can't go wrong at Slim's!
