Had soup and sandwich lunch here, really good. Specials change daily but are consistently excellent. Since it is a real bakery first the breads are superb. The staff is friendly and competent. This has become a must stop when in Bemidji. Needless to say I look forward to a return visit.

We're from out of town and were meaning to try this bakery. We got our first taste of the hot dog buns from the Lucky Dogs restaurant in town, and on our next trip, we ordered hot dog and hamburger buns for our family fishing resort get-together. They are wonderful. My only problem was trying to get my order taken... More

Took my 4 young granddaughters to lunch at Raphael's and we all loved it. The girls all had the soup of the day (cream of potatoe) and the accompanying bread and I added a sloppy joe. Everything including service was wonderful. As a special treat the girls all picked out a delicious, freshly made donut for desert! All round great... More

Fresh, real baked goods. Classics and some surprises. Lunch is great. Sandwiches on fresh baked bread with fruit and a cookie. Soups that are wonderful. Try the wild rice soup.

Nothing quite like hand made rolls and pastries!! By far the best sheet cake in town, just awesome!! Rolls can be small and on the expensive side...but they are good and running a bakery is very hard work.

I had the half sandwich and cup of e soup was cream of wild rice and above average. It was thick and full of rice; the way that I like it. The sandwich was a mediocre Reuben. The bread was toasted and rye. The best are pumpernickel and fresh. I would eat here again, but I would try different dishes.

My husband and I just met here fro breakfast and we were extremely satisfied. The wait staff was attentive even though they were busy. The food was good and plentiful and they add touches you feel like you would get at home. There aren't as many choices and the choices are basic , but neither of us were disappointed.

I work with mainly men and they love the soup and sandwich catering. Excellent service, easy to work with.

Great local bakery. Extremely busy, limited hours. Stopped because of TA reviews. I have a feeling all of the goodies are first come first serve. We ordered an assortment of pastries. Recommend.

Had breakfast here based on the recommendation of hotel staff. He must have thought I would only be eating donuts as the actual breakfast menu was very basic. I ordered an omelet and it was very basic, much like Denny's or IHOP. The bacon was nothing special either. The food was fine, just nothing special. I was hoping for something... More
