I visted Grandview Valley Winery while spouse was working the weekend at a nearby town, so i thought I'd seek out the winery solo. I went mid afternoon and was delighted to see many vehicles in the parking area, especially in tbe sesson of COVID...as small businesses have taken significant hit. With that said: I found a small bistro table outside in the shade to enjoy the vineyard views and small garden area. There is ample indoor seating for inclement weather and social distancing, for which the winery observes. Wine tastings are available along with a nice selection of wine offerings and beer choices. The pizza looks and smells AMAZING. I did order the open faced pepperoni sandwhich, lots of cheese and the pizza sauce on it was thick and rich in flavor, so i know I'd love the pizza. Service was a bit slow but the staff was certainly energetic and moving. I still giive it 5 stars as in this season of government mandates, its difficult to staff and plan per the whim/comfort of patrons. Id come back in a heartbeat, indulge in a pizza (gluten free available) and enjoy this hidden gravel road niche that deserves accolades!More

Great pizza. MANY differant types. I have been there several times and each time chose a differant pizza to try. Every one was GREAT. You can do a half and half selection, for I think, $1.50 extra. Which is good because that way you get...to sample a couple of differant pizzas. Since the peoplle who I have been there with, either prefer wine or beer. We had a selection of wine and beer to choose from. I have never been there for a wine tasting, so don't know if it is offered. We just asked for a wine, similar, to what we usually drank, to go with our pizza. Plan on going again, with another friend who hasn't been there yet. Yes, I agree for someone who has never been there before, it may be hard to find due to the small signs, and being on a gravel road. But i am going to place a suggection on there webpage or Facebook to maybe inprove their signs.More

I have a group of friends that likes to relax, sip some drinks, eat some supper and take our time catching up. Grandview Valley Winery is a great place to do that! In the past, we always took an outside table, but it was cold...and rainy, so we stuck to the inside. We arrived fairly early, around 4 pm and were surprised to be asked to wait for seating. There was a large group already in the midst of a party next to us in the secondary room, so the atmosphere was loud and lively. We ordered a bottle of wine and some of the new to us, bread with dipping oil. We sent the waiter away a few times, not ready to place the pizza order yet. Our waiter was attentive, but we started to wonder if maybe we were tying up the table too long, so we ordered. German with sauerkraut, brown mustard and German sausage is my favorite. We also ordered one with bleu cheese, black beans and jalapenos. That was tasty too, The pizzas only come in one size, large. The selection is huge and varied. Rest assured - you can get plain cheese or pepperoni if you are not adventuresome! If you just wanted a wine tasting with bread and cheese, that is also available. We boxed up our leftovers and finally noted that, even though the big group next to us was gone, and the table was broken down into a few smaller groups, the noise level was definitely rising. The polite thing to do was obvious - leave and surrender the table in case others were waiting. There was chaos in the front room. All the tables were full and there were people lined up against all the walls waiting to be seated. A young boy was delivering sodas and pizzas. There was a line for the bathrooms that blended in with the line waiting to pay that blended in with the line of people waiting to eat. One of the two bathrooms wasn't functional, but I finally used the facilities and expected to meet up with my friends who were paying the bill. They still weren't done, so I went outside to see more people waiting for tables. The winery only takes cash and checks. We just divide the bill roughly and throw our share into the pot. Apparently, some people make the cashier divy up the bill. DON'T BE THAT PERSON. It takes forever to pay. I am not sure if Grandview business has picked up that much (although it is always a popular place) or if today was a result of losing half the table space due to bad weather. Also, it was Saturday and we usually go on Sunday. IF YOU GO, Bring cash. Go early. Enjoy! Also the signs directing you there seem to be designed to keep people from finding the place. Unlit, short, wrong side of the road and lettered in dark paint. Use your GPS.More

This secluded venue was a great find! We have not often had good luck with local wines, but their red blend called "Squirrelly" was terrific! Numerous other patrons eating on the deck with us also seemed to be enjoying the views and the cool breeze...along with their handmade pizzas.More

Amazing pizza! Unfortunately this was our last stop for the day so couldn't give the wine a far tasting. Pretty location! Everyone we asked said the pizza was amazing but no one could give us a review on the wine?! Next time we'll start here...to do wine tasting besides.More

Had a wonderful, relaxing wine tasting with a nice host. Very friendly and personable. They do have some dry wines, but were out today. Okay with me since I am a sweet wine drinker. It is in the middle of nowhere, but easy to find....Last 2 miles or so are a gravel road and a dirt road. I mention it in case it has had a heavy rain prior to you going. Just be aware. Roads are kept up tho. Facility is very nice with plenty of seating. I did not eat but others were enjoying the pizza. I will go back for some. Plenty of wine and beer choices.More

Pizza good and draft beer good. Love the atmosphere with a beautiful setting. You always can't be in a hurry for pizza but with the setting why hurry. We were there for live music so an extra treat

What a great place to relax with a glass of wine or your favorite beer! An inviting atmosphere complete with a serene outdoor patio (with umbrellas) and a view any wine lover can appreciate! We took the whole family and the pizza was enjoyed by...everyone! Cash or check only so be prepared (although there is an ATM on site). Great stop for an evening out!More
