We drive 4 hours to dine at Lemon Wolf. We love the owners and staff and the food is always AMAZING. You can tell they love what they do and it translates to their food. We aren't normally pie eaters but we never leave this restaurant without having dessert- the Wolf Trail and Coconut pies are unrivaled. Bonus points for... More

This restaurant features all made from scratch food, it fills up quickly and is a nice atmosphere. It is a place to sit and have a relaxing meal and enjoy the flavor in their food. The owners take great pride in their food, drinks, and how well their restaurant is run. It is clean also. The owner, who is also... More

My husband and I stopped in for dinner after a day filled with hiking and nature. It was delightful! First, it's small and cozy inside so get there a little early. We were able to get a table right away. The few times someone had to wait, the staff was pretty snappy getting an empty table cleaned for the next... More

My wife and I were stayed up in Grand Marais last week, but our favorite restaurant was closed for the winter months. My wife had heard good reviews of the Lemon Wolf, so we took a trip to Beaver Bay to have lunch there. Wow! First of all, the decor was really cozy and featured artwork from some familiar North... I was so pleased as we were seated in this beautifully decorated cozy restaurant. We were told about the prime rib special, but my husband and I had the Canadian walleye. It was one of the best meals we've had in a while. Susan, the owner, was waiting on us and the whole dining experience was flawless. I love when... More

Very good food, pleasant and intimate "northwoodsy" but white tablecloth ambience, good service. Will return. Try the pie for dessert.

My kids & I ate at the Lemon Wolf approx. 12 years ago and occasionally we will still talk about the fabulous walleye sandwiches we all had. We returned to the North Shore/Beaver Bay this past weekend and once again, absolutely loved our meal. The service was attentive and very good. Our Wild Rice Soup and Walleye Sandwiches were amazing.... More
