have been here many times on our yearly visits to the area. never been disappointed with any of the menu choices. From the garlic infused French dip to the Reuben or the Cuban sandwiches. The beverages are also always very cold. Place is always very clean. We are able to ride our wheeler right into the parking lot for lunch.

We drove up for late lunch on a Saturday, after a long hike at Gooseberry Falls. There was a good selection of beer but no tap. All bottled. There were four of us and we were all a bit surprised how good the food was. Everyone was pleased with the flavor and freshness of the food.

I initially ordered the bean burger, which was freshly made and delicious. However it ended up having an ingredient to which I am allergic and after the first bite I couldn't finish it. The waitress and cook were gracious and allowed me to order an alternative meal, which was also very good. The atmosphere is pleasant in this restaurant, with... More

Went for lunch on a Saturday. My husband and I both gave it a "meh." I had pork carnitas which filled me up yet left me strangely hungry. Husband had beef brisket over bread with kettle chips. Got our food before husband got his beer. I will be tasting this all day. But that's not necessarily a bad thing either... More

We were coming in late on a Friday night, to silver bay marina, wished to take a order to go, they were closing, but they were very gracious and took our order and a order of a young couple with a small child. Our food was delicious, perfectly done, staff was wonderful, we appreciated the fact they could have said... More

We got a later start than we intended and ending up stopping here for dinner on our way up to Tofte. I'm glad we did. Cute place with lots of "up north" decoration and memorabilia- just enough, not overdone or stuffed to the gills. We did have to wait a few min. for a table, but there was a very... More

We were on the road from Thunder Bay to Minneapolis and stopped in here for lunch. Had no prior knowledge or read any reviews on the place. We stopped because the parking lot was full. We were greeted right away and sat near the window. The restaurant is a very kitschy place with lots of fun Northern Canada / Northern... More

Owner's selection of beers was excellent. Pulled pork was much better then chicken which was very bland. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. Nice atmosphere for a leisurely meal.
