On a scenic drive of Lake Superior North Shore, we looked c or a place to eat that had a busy parking lot. Thus place was busy too! With 7 People In our party, we expected a long wait, Which is fine, it gives us more time to chat. But to our sutprise, the wait was nothing like we expected.... More

We were looking for a place to eat overlooking the lake while eating lunch, and this was a great choice! We sat on the back deck on an umbrella table and enjoyed the beautiful breeze and views of the lake. The food was delicious (especially the "Fruits of the Forest" pie. Yum!! Friendly service, variety of Scandinavian themed food choices,... More

We had seen good reviews online and decided to go here. It looked nice and the view was great. The waitress was very friendly. However, the food was terrible, I had a northern light sampler and the only thing I could even manage to eat was the wild rice soup, the walleye fillet was small and absolutely full of bones.... Incredibly inflated prices for the substandard food that comes out of the kitchen. Although the wait staff was very pleasant the prime rib I ordered was horribly overcooked and looked and tasted as if it had come out of the microwave. The Yukon gold potatoes were overcooked as well and flavorless. Not what you would expect from an establishment that... More

It was OK. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an app. It was about two white mushrooms cut up with a little stuffing and drenched in cheddar cheese, it was disgusting, for $11. The meals, chicken sandwich and Herring, were good. Views and service were nice, but I feel it was over priced.

The food was delicious, the views were stunning and the price wasn't too bad either. Service was lacking a little but I only saw two servers and the place was really hopping when we got there. I'm not going to complain too much because I know that poor service along the North Shore is not typical and they were probably... More

Visited here after a day of hiking. Very few staff present for the amount of seating. Seat yourself, pay up front. The menu offers many interesting options, many boasting "homeade". We ordered an elk burger and the hunter's pie. The hunter's pie appeared as a bowl of melted cheese with two breadsticks. Very unappealing. The flavor was equally dissapointing. Elk... More
