The owner is an avid Coca-Cola collector so he displays his collection in the restaurant. It’s a quaint little restaurant that’s mainly take out with an area for some eat-in for about 16 people. They also offer delivery.
The food is decent but depending on what you order, the food could be bland or rather tasty. We ordered Vegetable Deluxe, Chicken with Vegetables and Home Style Bean Curd. The Bean Curd was the tastiest of the three.

The service was great and our lunch was really nice. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel quite welcome. The portions were generous so we decided to save have of our lunch for dinner. I should mention this restaurant has been open for years and we go there quite often. I really enjoy the fact that it is not a chain.

The food was excellent foremost parts. I have ordered here a few times. On average that takes over an hour. And I'm about 2 miles away. My last order took an hour and 35 minutes. I cancel my order five minutes later the driver showed up. Was mad wanted me to take my order. Was arguing with me trying to make me take the food. Told him sorry I ordered to Domino's I can't wait all night I need to deliver my food.

We ordered take out for dinner. The wontons were very dry and had no flavor. Actually, none of the meals were very good. I had sweet & sour chicken- the chicken had too much breading. My husband & son both had the kung pao chicken- both said it was just okay. We will probably try a different Chinese restaurant next time.

Lucky 7 is my go to Chinese food place when in the Ypsilanti area. They always serve it hot and fresh weather you get dine in or delivery. Lots of food for a VERY reasonable price. Everything I have tried is delicious and you will never finish hungry. Staff can be a little impatient with you at times, but nothing too bad.

We love the food from Lucky 7! We either eat there in the small eating area or get take out at least once a week. The owners are so friendly and nice! My husband loves the jalapeno chicken entrée! The hot and sour soup, steamed dumplings are also great! The lunch specials are excellent and good value.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Average food, average service, and so on and so on.. You really can find better Chinese if you look. Lucky 7 is average..

I have had many chinese meals in the Ypsilanti area but lucky 7 is my all time favorite. They have awesome cheap meals with a wide variety. Friendly staff, always delivers within a reasonable time, this is the place to go! I just wish they were open later for those late night chinese cravings!

My girlfriend and I ordered $29 worth of food. Terriyaki chicken and rice...The sauce was very light on chicken and combined with rice way too dry! I ordered triple crown with fried rice. Not much chicken beef and shrimp at all...just sauce and veggies.then there was the Crab cheese Folds (rangoons where we live) 2/$1.40 so we ordered 10 for $7...Worst ever hard shell filled with cheese only no crab meat to be found! I checked several of them! the best part of the meal was the Wonton Soup and it was Okay at best! That's truly SAD! Within a half hour I was experiencing stomach bubbling and letting this mess out of me!!! I guess for College Kids pretty much anything passes as good eats!!! needless to say we will Never eat here again!!!

We found this restaurant tonight and it was great! Super friendly staff and the service was better than at Chinese restaurants much larger than this. The food was fresh and fantastic value too. You will not leave hungry and there will probably be some to take home too. What a great find and we found it via Trip Advisor so thank you for posting.

So, worth the drive to Ypsi for take-out (although they have indoor seating). Friendly service, great prices. The combo-meals are tops! Can't say enough about this place.
