Went in for dinner tonight. Ordered off the new menu. Prices are outrageous for this type of Restaurant! The main kicker was paying $4 for a fountain pop with no free refills! The waitress was sneaky about not telling us there would be a charge...for the refill. We each had a pop with 1 refill & we were charged $16 for pop! We never complain about prices but, this was ridiculous! We will NOT be back!More

Our family, 10 to 12 of is meet at Woodys every month, have done this for years. Last month we had a terrible experience. Told to sit in the banquet room, 20 minutes still no service, asked the bartender if we could get a waitress....."You weren't supposed to sit there." We should have left, without ordering . Ordered were mixed up, inaccurate, bills screwed up too. Took us two hours to complete our meal. Last night we revisited with our family. Waitress was horrible, meals came out in three trips over a 35 minute period. Told the waitress my meal was tertible, no response from her. Never checked on our meal, if we needed anything...bills slow to deliver and cash us out. Our family will not be back!More

Trying to become an upscale bar. Isn't ever going to happen with this management. Cody is to worried about what his girlfriend is doing. Yes she works there too. Just a bad idea. Bar stools are way to high. It's very uncomfortable. Prices for food...have gotten outrageous and the food quality has gone way down. They are so under staffed it's crazy. Fired the best bartender I have ever seen. Big mistake. Probably the best thing for her. Katie will be missed. After going here for 25 plus years ....I will not be going back.More

Since Woody's remodel the service is extremely slow. Okay get this everyone their food is outrageously expensive, $16 for a single appetizer is just insane, meals are even more. Their new chairs are nice to sit in however the ring at the bottom is so...small where you have to break your legs just to bend your knees way in to rest your feet. And you would think that a newly remodeled place would have charging ports all over the place for your phone but nothing. The live bands are hit miss, some are good and some are horrible. In my business opinion I don't think Woody's is ever going to recover if they keep their prices the way they are, the seating, and the extremely slow service. They need to step up their service by a 1000 %. If you read the reviews on Woody's Press Box website you'll notice that they only pick the good reviews to post. Woody's posted menu is not the same as what you get when you arrive, much higher. Twice found a hair in the food. Also the manager continued to tell the band to turn down the music, when the customers were telling the band to turn it up. The manager did this because people in the bowling alley were complaining of the music. The manager should shut the door so the bowlers didn't hear the music. No brainer.More

We visited Woody's last night for dinner with another couple. The drinks, 3 beers and a cider, took a long time to get. When they did arrive they were not very cold. When we asked the server she explained that the bar was at the...other end of the bowling alley. Our food also took a long time to arrive. We had one pork bbq sandwich that was very good with macaroni salad also good. Two of us had the Woody's Gyro which was very good but needed more tzaki sauce and more feta. The potato salad was good but the coleslaw lacked taste and dressing. The last item was the fish sandwich. It was also good. While the food was all mostly good we are not sure we will return because of the slow service and warm beverages. We definitely won't be back until construction is finished.More

We were in town for a week at a PBA50 event held at Spectrum Lanes. Woody Press Box is the restaurant attached to the lanes. The food was fresh and tasted great. Prices were reasonable too. Being from NJ, the prices were VERY good! Our...favorite were the burgers and the spice chicken enchildada soup. Simply outstanding. The potato chips were homemade and great. Cannot wait to visit again when we are back in Michigan for a PBA event.More

If you want a convenient place and very casual, go for it. The food is OK, nothing great, and being average, the prices are higher than they should be. The service is pretty good. The place is rather rundown.

Great location, nice ambience, have never been disappointed in the food, and someone is doing something right with training the wait staff because that is a major reason we continue to return to Woody's rather regularly. Had the Burger Basket Special (Olive Burger) and we...ordered the chicken bites with multiple sauces (an appetizer favorite) and both were very tasty! As previously mentioned, our waitress was great - knowledgeable, attentive, friendly and prompt with our requests. Woody's is a local gem that we will continue to go back to!More
