My friends and I would like to thank Stephen for his hospitality during our one night stay at the Queens Arms last week. The meal and evening we had in the bar was just fabulous. There was a darts game happening throughout the course of the evening and this just added to the already wonderful atmosphere. Extremely friendly people. the... More

4 of us had lunch there after a days walking, it was so good we went back for dinner. Great menu of local produce (lamb was delicious) well cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. The chef was a really nice young guy who clearly had a passion for food. Definitely recommend this place, but be sure to book so your... More

Myself and my partner visited two nights in a row (as our B&B was accross the road). The Queens Arms is a lovely pub. The food and drink was fantastic but a little pricey. Very friendly staff and locals. The coal fire lit was a nice touch! Very cosy :)

Characterful Pub with stone walls, open fire, etc. Was quite busy on the Thurs evening that we visited. The food was not cheap, but well cooked & served, and was very filling. The Bar had a good range of drinks. This place is to be found at the far end of a remote but beautiful Valley so is perfect for... More

After a long drive had a lovely lunch in a beautiful part of the country, my husband had the tri of lamb and said it was as good as a high class restaurant and presented beautifully, l had the steak and ale pie which was full of succulent beef. Staff and coal fire both equally welcome.

We were seating in the lonely and somewhat drafty dining room. The food was fine and the service was fine. No complaints really just not an outstanding experience. Normally we like to sit and chat after our meal but this time we just went back to the hotel. It was fine as we were hungry and there are few other... More

My second visit for dinner this winter, quite a bit busier as it appears Thursday evening is darts night and quite a few people waiting to go off to a darts match and then locals who are very friendly playing darts in the bar. A roaring fire to keep you warm and excellent starters and main courses. They seem to... More

Walked from Arncliffe to Litton in freezing weather today and found this little gem of a pub. Roaring log fire welcomed us as did the friendly owner. Delicious meal of tasty Lamb Broth with freshly baked bread followed by home made apple crumble and custard. Lip smackingly good and warmed us up a treat. All washed down with their own... More
