Called in 3 take out dinners. Fried fish and 2 sandwiches. Pick up time was as promised. Was ignored a few minutes when I came in to pick up. Food was good. But I'm not rushing back.

Everyone was extremely please with their dinner choices. I had the Cheswick, pita stuffed with fresh veggies. 👍👍

While staying in the area, we loved this place so much, we went twice. I ordered the grilled salmon both times (consistent and delicious). The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant had a nice dark wood feel...very nice. We will go back when we are in the area.

If I could give this place zero stars i would...my wife and I had one of the worst restaurant experiences that we can remember from the service to the extremely sad, depressing food that was served. First it took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged at our table and to even get a glass of water literally the most basic stuff. Didn't even bring us any bread or offered bread, something that is a given at any dining establishment that advertises itself as they do. But I guess when you're cheap and don't respect your customers getting no bread is the result...anyway I ordered the salmon fillet and my wife ordered the grilled cheese with a side of fries. After a long time the food arrives and the salmon "fillet" is a complete embarrassment thank God I took a picture of it so you can see how depressing this dish looks its literally laughable. My wife's sandwich was ok but its a grilled cheese that's hard to screw up they managed to melt cheese on some grilled bread way to guys lol but they did forget her fries. When I received my dish I didnt even want to eat it, I proceeded to take it over to the owner who's just sitting at the bar staring into space doing absolutely nothing..I ask him if this is acceptable for his restaurant and he actually defends the dish asking me if I ordered the half or full order of salmon, well sir there is no half or full on your menu it just says "fresh salmon fillet" the guy doesn't even know his own menu, ridiculous...he argues with me that its a salmon fillet and I tell him he's wrong at that point he just says bye loudly in my face. Then as I'm walking out I hear him say "get the eff out of here" wow what a nice owner, selling a laughable amount of salmon and a few green beans for $23 is ridiculous, respect your customer and quit being cheap. My wife and I went to another local downriver restaurant 2 days later and I ordered the exact same thing for the same price and I took a picture of that too. The service was fantastic, we actually got bread (what a concept) and the salmon fillet was awesome you can see for yourself below. RP McCrappys is the one with the salmon about as wide as the butter knife on the table lol get a clue dude!

Came in for early dinner about 545pm.
I Was told that we would have to wait a minute as they were clearing the back room for seating. The front part of the bar had three open booths, all of which were reserved , however as other booths began to clear as we waited, The hostess assured us that we would have a booth momentarily unfortunately that was not the case. Two groups of people came in with later reservations that could’ve been accommodated at the reservation time but instead they were seated and we were left t to wait even longer at the door with small children upwards to 45 minutes before we literally left. I feel my treatment was incredibly rude. This whole situation could’ve been handled much more professionally . If you do not have seats available you do not tell people they will be seated soon multiple times to have tables given away to other people that have not waited and have showed up early. Furthermore At that point at 5:45 I could’ve went online and reserve the table and apparently been seated instead of waiting because that is clearly what the people coming in had done. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Very disappointing my family we will not be coming back!!!

Valerie, Unfortunately our dinning room was taken up by a private party. This caused a jam with our limited seating in the bar area.While I am disappointed that the hosts didn't handle your situation better they have an obligation to honor the reservations. I am confident that they honestly thought that they would've have a seat for your family as the party was supposed to be gone by 6 p.m. but they over stayed. Maybe we should have kicked them out earlier but we like to be accommodating to our guests. All of our reservations are taken over the phone and not online immediately before someone walks in the door as you mistakenly assume. We do not offer online reservations. I'm dismayed that you are so quick to write us off and just do the cowardly act of the "i'm going online to bash these people because I had to wait" route instead of talking to me or one of our managers. And saying that we have horrible service without even allowing us to serve you is pretty disingenuous. Good luck out there and remember next time to call ahead if you are in such a hurry.

Went here against my husbands wishes. The last time we came we had a bad experience over a year ago. It was my birthday so I picked based on reviews. It was not busy and we were seated right away in the back room. The waitress took our order and brought our drinks. It took over 35 mins to get our appetizer of bacon wrapped shrimp and when it came it was burnt. Another 10 minutes later we got our salad. People who came in after us got their entrees well before us. When our entrees finally came the waitress apologized to my husband because his dish was supposed to be made with penne pasta but was made with linguine instead? Ok no problem but it was supposed to be spicy and was totally not and tasted like chef boy r dee. He tried to make the best of it but after a few bites he found a burnt tooth pick in his pasta! Won’t ever go back and would not recommend. Don’t waste your money

Bad service and bad food. Soggy shrimp, wilted vegetables..wrong sauce on Salmon…Salmon raw…no napkins….attitude bad.

We enjoy the food here. They have a variety of dishes. We love their outdoor seating, and the service is excellent. Just make sure you make reservations on the weekends or evenings It’s always busy!

The restaurant has a good atmosphere, drinks are well poured and fairly priced but I was less then impressed by the food and service. When we first were sat at our table it took a waitress 20 minutes to come to even take a drink order or offer water. We had 4 at our table got three appetizers which were subpar. Each of had different meals ranging from filet to hamburger and we all thought the dishes were ok but nothing to write home about.

What a nice change! Husband and I walked in from the back not knowing what to expect. Service was phenomenal and all class. Having dinner here was like a breath of fresh air compared to the average restaurant these days. Thank you for keeping it classy and delicious. We will be back to try dessert and coffee next time!

We are in the area visiting family and decided to try somewhere new in Wyandotte. We were not disappointed. The interior of the restaurant is charming, the service was good, and the food was delicious. We tried the salmon salad ($14) and the French dip with potato skins
($10). Everything was fabulous and a good value for the price. We were especially impressed by the au jus which has to be made in house, it’s just like homemade. Other guests sitting next to us ordered the mussels appetizer which looked amazing. Same with a mini chocolate bundt cake we saw someone eating.....can’t wait to come back!

Had a great lunch and some good reminiscing. The regular menu has a lot to offer (delicious grilled cheese) and some good specials as well (perch sandwich was awesome!). Been a while since I have been there-a nice treat to compliment my visit to the area.

We have been customers of RP McMurphy’s for almost 20 years. Tonight was the first time we were treated poorly and had a bad experience. I’m sad that one of our favorite places has done this. We were coming in tonight to celebrate my birthday. My husband called at 3:00 in the afternoon to make a reservation for a Front/Bar side booth. We prefer to sit there because it’s often hard to hear each other in the back room. When we arrived tonight we were told we could not sit in the front and that there was a booth for us in the back. They were “sorry”. Our evening was ruined. Yet, there were several reservations made after ours. There was an empty booth. I cannot help but feel we were bumped. We did speak to the woman in charge and she had quite an explanation. Apparently the bar tender or “the girl who’s left” took our reservation. Again, it was my birthday celebration and it was ruined because of someone’s incompetence. We did everything right by making a reservation and were denied.

The Restraunte was clean and our server was very attentive.

Went with my friend to this place. Have to say it was very good and the food was super. we also had a good cold beer. right downtown and easy to get to.
