The service here was great and the ambience was nice. Came here with my grandparents twice. They both really liked it. I like the mix on the menu. Just a little bit pricey but worth it.

We happened to be travelling through the area and decided to drop in the Red Cedar Grill based on tripadvisor reviews. The place doesn't look impressive on the outside but it is really nice inside. I had grilled Mahi Mahi with some kind of fancy BBQ-coconut milk sauce that was awesome. It was so fresh and flaky and delicious. My... More

Food is average with the attempt to be local and special. Service has not been good in awhile. You get the feeling they don't care if you are there or not. Once was a great place for dinner and carrot cake.

I had a late lunch in mid-afternoon and was the only customer. The Chef/owner Mike Luther assured me he was open when I hesitated upon entry. The temperature was in the high 80's outside, but comfortable indoors. I had a refreshing Michigan pale ale to quench my thirst and ordered a deliciously slow cooked braised tri-tip with caramelized onion, Monterrey... More

Wonderful spot in a great town outside of East Lansing. Owner and staff take great pride in their food and service. Commendable appetizers: calamari, feta with honey with pita. Main courses are consistently good: whitefish, sirloin, chicken....with preparation for each changing according to the seasons. Go, support the local economy!

. Ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer along with gumbo and Ceaser salad. Salad looked as if it was taken from the bottom of the salad bowl. Waitress forgot the Brussel sprouts. When reminded they were delivered so crispy all that was left were the leaves. Entrée was the chicken tacos. Delivered cold and soggy. My husband had the... More

My husband and I use to go here when they said they had a special night of half off appetisers after 8:00 if you walked in at 8:35 or later they turn your business away and say they are closed or closing . This has happened to us to many times now so we just stopped going.

My wife and I both enjoyed our salads--a Caesar with anchovies for me and a house for her. We both ordered a beef dish. The service was good. We were there on a week night, but there were ample tables for a busy night.

Really really delicious meals with fantastic variety. Warm and cozy, well appointed interiors that are well decorated to enhance your evening experience. Fabulous owner who you would enjoy meeting. Wait staff that is knowledgeable, helpful, clean and friendly. The appetizer selection could easily make your meal a "tapas" style dining experience. The main menu has something for everyone. Meat, seafood,... More
