My husband and I love the Riverhouse. From their specialty burgers to their half off wine Wednesdays, it is the place to be. The service is amazing! The patio is awesome! The food is top notch. If you want a quiet place, a romantic date night or a night out with couples, you will not be disappointed here!

I ate here with an ex boyfriend a while ago. We sat out on the back patio area that looked over the river. It was nice and serene and we were able to have a long interesting discussion. The water comes in a wine glass which is why I think it's pretty swanky. The food is pricey but worth it.

This little place has a beautiful, charming outdoor seating area on the river surrounded by gardens. The menu is not very big, but the food we've had there has been very solid and consistent. The Filet, including its accompaniments, is delicious and so far always cooked properly. The stuffed mushrooms, with or without the lobster, are a generously-portioned, excellent, albeit... More

I had a relaxing dinner meeting here and while enjoying the ripple of the Red Cedar River from the patio. The service was great, the food was well prepared and it left a very good impression on my out of town guest. This location has to have one of the best patio's for relaxed and quiet peaceful dining in the... More

Great food. The atmosphere is awesome! We really like the times at the Riverhouse, with warm sunny days and a great salad or steak. The service is very friendly also. It also has a more private room up front by a fireplace if you want to be away from everyone.

Had dinner Saturday night with a party of four. Variable experiences in the past but had 4 different main courses and all agreed that this was one of our better meals there. More personal service and attention. One aspect management should change is the background music - a local radio station with adds? Just buy some classy CD or use... More

The most intimate location in this house turned into a coffee house/pub is right next to the fireplace. The menu is limited and pricey but most of the restaurants in Williamston are pricey as well with the exception of being Ellie's Family dining. The night that my wife and I met another couple at the Riverhouse I had ordered the... More

You can have a very quiet dinner inside or during the summer you can enjoy a very relaxing drink and a meal on the patio while viewing or listening to the sounds of the Red Cedar River. Country setting in downtown Williamston. The food is good and has various selection giving this little town needed dining choices.

Went with another couple to lunch on a beautiful summer day. Sat outside and enjoyed the view of the river. Service was good and the waiter was attentive to our needs. I had the whitefish sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side salad. Other had the Reuben sandwich. No complaints as we sat and talked for1-1/2 hours. I hope... More

Sausage & pasta dish sausage terrible. sausage was the cheap smoked kind with a can of tomatoes tossed in the pasta. Was not fresh fennel sausage. Poor quality food. I would have sent it back but I was being treated for dinner and did not want to embarrass my cousin. I will not go back. As a side note. replace... More
