Hubby and I decided to check Angelo Bros (Dec 2015) out as a prelude to inviting our Friday night dinner crowd. Great food, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy! Our 'Friday night dinner group' now has made Angelo Brothers a repetitive selection of dining locations for 2016.
Ate lunch here with a group and this is what I remember from my childhood. I've lived outside America for the last 15 years, but still remember the family Italian restaurants my after would take me to when I was young. Although we were there mid-afternoon, it looks like the kind of restaurant with decent solid Italian food and a... More
Angelo Brothers serves old fashioned Italian food (think pasta, pizza, chicken parm, etc.) for reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. Nothing remarkable but consistently good. I've always had good service and I've never had to wait for a table. I've eaten here probably 10-15 times in 15 years. They also have a banquet room that looks pretty nice.
My daughter's swim team went here for their annual pasta dinner before their league meet, now I know we had a big group of people and I was expecting some hiccups but the waitress was HORRIFIC! This is the worse restaurant I have ever been too. The food is horrible and I mean HORRIBLE. Both me and my husband had to send our food back, we left with just drinks and had to go somewhere else. Everything is imitation so stay away is my suggestion.
This is an old style Italian restaurant. The staff could not be nicer or more solicitous. However, the food was nothing special. The Pizza o.k., but the pasta was bland and the sauce left much to be desired.
Wow! What tasty food. The portions are monstrous, but the quality of the dishes is also impressive. I had some of the best lasagna ever, and our son enjoyed a very fine pizza. Perfect crust and tasty combo of cheeses and spices in the sauce. Wait staff was professional and attentive. Yummy bread as well. Only weakness in our meal... More
Usually when in town, I eat at Amantea's just up the road from here. This visit, my family wanted to go here for pizza, so we went. It was great! Great service, amazing pizza, good prices. Only downer was the cannoli. Not very impressed with that.
