Awesome atmosphere, better beer (do NOT order other than the house brews), and the fried Brussels sprouts are absolutely fantastic!

Big windows and brick walls convey the feeling of a friendly brewhouse and help you to enjoy the numerous tapped craft beers available. Color-coded paper menu lists the beers available not only brewed by Brown Iron, but brewed by other well-known companies. Food and service...are excellent. The high ceiling makes the place a little loud, but there is a casual vibe that makes for a relaxing brew and meal. The only problem is no paper coasters are used so the table becomes a wet swamp from condensation off the cold beer glasses in the humid Michigan summer! Careful your sleeves don't get wet!More

Recently visited with a party of 10 around 1pm on a Saturday. The place was not packed at all. Seated right away. It took forever to get waters to our table. It did not arrive until our beverage/lunch order was taken which took over 10-15...mins AFTER we were seated. The burgers were dry and they didn’t even ask what temperature we wanted the burgers done. They were well done. The Brussels Sprouts and pretzel were charred not in an appetizing way. My two year old wouldn’t even eat the pretzel because it was so hard. The chicken tenders, fries, beef brisket, Caesar salad, Mac and cheese and chicken club were not bad but not anything I would come back for. My son is a big meat eater and he didn’t like the beef brisket but it wasn’t horrible. We were literally standing by our table waiting for the bill and had to ask for a box while the waitstaff were all standing around talking by the hostess stand. Honestly won’t be back. Not worth it for the service and food provided which is disappointing since we love to support local businesses.More

This past year with lock-downs and closures has been crazy but through that Brown Iron still adapted and catered to customers as best as they were allowed. The staff is Great. The food keeps me coming back - the seasoned fries, the burgers , the...Cobb salad, the wings and the ribs Everything is Great even my 87 year old mother loves the place. Did I forget to mention the Mexican corn and the chili. Give them a try and you will become a regular.More

We have been there a couple of times and the food was good, not great but good. The people working were nice and friendly and the place was packed. Kept clean and maintained. I normally don't drink beer so for me it is not a...place a would come back to often. I did have a beer and it was good and my beer drinking friends liked the beer selection. Price point was a little high, but not crazy.More

We had a wedding shower catered by Brown Iron the food was wonderful! It was tasty the meat was moist and it arrived warm and well packaged ( I have come expect to the worse of things in 2020 but this was a pleasant surprise...!!) The tray were generous and we were able to provide "take home" with the extras for our guests ... who were happy to accept!! Thank you for making our party a success!!More

Great looking place with lots of room inside and out. The patio is very nice it's too bad that the food isn't as good as the room. But it you just want to drink beer this may be something that you like. But the food...not so good. Not for my money not good food.More

Had eaten their brisket before, so great, best I had ever eaten. When we visited again I couldn't wait to have the brisket again!! So disappointed, why mess up a good thing? It was so spicy, I couldn't even eat it. Too bad!!

Best gluten free menu. So nice to be able to eat great tasting food that is gluten free! My favorite is the burnt ends and French fires! That’s a treat!

We went with another couple for dinner. There was no wait to sit inside however it was very noisy. The service was good. I was glad gluten-free selections were available and any burger could be made on gluten-free buns. There was a large selection of...food and beer including a moderate amount of gluten-free cider.More

Great house brews as well as an extensive list of other craft beers. Great selection of food on the menu with limited offerings for vegetarians. Service was beyond excellent considering we had a large group.
