My family and I eat here several times a month and have never been disappointed. The food is always terrific and the selection of soups is overwhelming. Sometimes the waitstaff is a little slow, but that's because that's what happens when you get packed. They also have a healthy menu that you can't even tell it's healthy.

I am very disappointed in our experience at Friars on October 15th. I have not been here in years and was visiting from out of town so we decided to visit with the family. There were 8 (plus a baby) in our party.Everything started out okay with being seated quickly as their evening rush had just ended. We arrived around... More

The staff here are very friendly! Mostly family owned, the owners commonly eat here, you can see them sitting with the rest of the guests. It's very nice to see them interacting with everybody and standing behind their business. Food is good, their breakfast is pretty great, but the price is where it sets me back a bit. It's a... More

The service was great, have seniors pricing, and the eggs were cooked perfect. Some times place over cook eggs.

The Coffee is delish and the waitstaff is on time with any wants I would come here again. Great for every one! No wait due to the large seating area.

Visited here many times for lunch and dinner. Was not happy at all with tonight's dinner. My husband and I both ordered fish and chips. Cod was mostly batter. French fries were blah. We're usually happy with our meal. Maybe it was just an off day for them. We will definitely try again. Meal was 11.99 and not worth it... More

They have an excellent breakfast menu for seniors. Other meals are good, too but I can't say enough about the senior breakfasts. Also have many soups for one to choose from and they are all great!

After work, a friend of mine and I visit the Friars at least once a week Major reason...so many food choices and fairly priced. American fare, Italian, Greek, Polish...whatever you would like. Special value meals for seniors and kids. Most meals come with soup and salad. Never have been disappointed. Love their hamburgers with grilled onions and chicken pot pie.... More

Nice, clean, family friendly restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Large menu with a lot of variety. The menus includes many specials for senior citizens. The soups are plentiful (10 fresh daily) and are very tasty. All of the meals (including breakfasts and lunches) served to our group of 8 were attractive, fresh and tasty.
