This quiet little restaurant in Warren provides very good Indian food for reasonable prices. The Aloo Gobi is excellent and I have tried various other selections, all of which have been very good. During lunchtimes they also have a buffet lunch. We haven’t been to...that so I cannot review it but it sounds like a good deal. On the East side of Detroit there aren’t many Indian cuisine options. I am glad we have this one.More
Food was ready in a good amount of time, not very expensive, good quality. They use spices appropriately and enjoyed the meal all around.
was very happy to have come here--the waiter amin was very gracious & pleasant--the food was good--they have a $10 lunch buffet--I think they do a lot of banquets--no liquor--plenty of parking--handy location a half mile from 696--they have been open 5 years--they have cloth...tablecloths & napkins which is nice......More
Looking for a different taste treat? Eat here. Soup is good as is the nan bread (both kinds). Every meal I've had here has been delicious--just be sure to tell the staff "on the mild side", unless you are used to "hot". The staff is...friendly and knowledgeable as well and the prices are reasonable.More
Frozen, miniature and reheated tasteless Samoas. REALLY lackluster korma and inattentive waitstaff. Will NOT return.
The food was pretty good. Small portions though. A good place to eat if you are staying in the area and dont want to go far.
Three separate dishes and they all had zero flavor. No taste of spice, herbs or care in any of the food. Waitstaff tried to be nice. No one in the restaurant but U.S. Should have been a clue. Wake up and read your reviews. Do...not go here. BADMore
Safron rice, with the Chichen Tikka masala and Naan Bread, are my favorite items on the buffet! they have a good variety on the buffet and some damn good rice pudding for dessert! A bargain for just $8.99.
If you are looking to try something different to expand your tastes' look no further. A delight for your taste-buds. You can choose your spice / hotness level, a good thing. The service is friendly as well as knowledgeable & are very willing to explain...the various dishes. The prices are reasonable as well. Love the Dal soup & the Naan bread (plain or garlic ) served warm--tasty. So far every dish I've tried has been good the Thai chicken wrap, the chicken tandoori. chicken / lamb karahi and a few others. I keep coming back to try something different or the same ones more than once.More
