Had a wonderful birthday celebration here last night in the lovely private dining area, The Loft. Everything was so special - the room the food and the service. Special mention to mine host James and our waitress Tyra who were so attentive, nothing was too...More

Friday evening, pre-booked dining for four guests. First night of three at Lympstone Manor gave us the opportunity to take the 15 minute stroll to Redwing via typical narrow Devon lanes and footpaths. The bar was comfortably busy and we were acknowledged by the friendly...More

We are frequent visitors to the Redwing and usually enjoy some good food and pleasant service. However, last night 's meal was truly awful. Our soup starter was delicious but the fish and chips the worst I have ever eaten. Soggy, undercooked and very greasy...More

Dined here many times and always buzzy with great service, food & wine & good value to boot Try the Seafood platter to start, share it as portion is generous & it's gluten free too (as is the bulk of the menu) which is ideal...More

Everything was great, food, service, the waitress was so kind. Place was lovely, they have parking. They have day specials, witch are cheaper, so we ended up paying less, and eating fab.

Went for a meal with friends to celebrate my birthday. Service and food were all excellent. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this as a reliable place to eat out. Better than mid range but not really fine dining. Ample parking to the side and rear.

Definitely in the bar (they're always well behaved), but I've never seen a dog in the main restaurant.
